MIAMI (CBS/KFOR) Three elementary students were charged Wednesday in connection with a shocking alleged sexual assault March 3 on an 11-year-old classmate whose mother says suffers from a high functioning form of autism called Asperger's.

Miami Police say that two of the boys acted as lookouts while the third boy followed the girl into the bathroom and locked the door. The girl says that the boy then forced her to her knees and made her perform oral sex on him.

The girl's mother and her attorney told CBS affiliate KFOR that she wasn't notified by Norland Elementary School officials about the incident for two days, but her mother could tell something was wrong.

``She kept her head down,'' the girl's mother told KFOR. ``She wouldn't hold her head up, she wasn't the same.''

The girl's mother called the incident a "nightmare" and said she can't "understand how an eleven-year-old would think like that," the victim's mother said.

The boys outside the bathroom "attempted to defeat the victim's attempt to escape the locked bathroom by grabbing and pushing her with the purpose of keeping her confined," according to police.

Two of the boys were charged with false imprisonment and being accesories to sexual battery. The third boy was charged with false imprisonment and sexual battery on a child under 12.

All three boys were charged as juveniles and were not taken into police custody.

The victim's mother said her daughter is "very aware of what happened to her."

According to John Schuster, Chief Communications Officer for Miami-Dade Public Schools, all of the boys involved have been suspended and expelled. All of the boys will be enrolled at different schools.

Two of the children are supposed to make their first court appearance March 30, with the other child making his initial court appearance on March 31.

paris 4 princess? i wouldn't vote for you to scrub a princess toilet! this is the most ignorant thing i have ever read!what you should tell the boys family to do is apologize to me for hurting my daughter. how f***cking dare you reply with a comment like that!!!this response is missing so many words and have so many misspelled words until i could barely understand it!you sound like you didn't even finish elementary school! first of all, only the authorities were able to see the tape. if you are of an authorative figure, then it's a damn shame you can't spell the word "lying". also, my daughter was in the bathroom first and he entered on her, but you would know that if you saw the tape. so if these boys were innocent why did they get charged and the schoolboard sued. so my ignorant lil' princess, you shouldn't talk things that YOU don't know because that little girl was my child and it was very painful.i pray no other parent have to live that nightmare and as for you, i hope you don't have kids and pray the lord never blesses you with any because ignorance is taught at home and your kids would probably be the next future rapists!

This is so wrong! The mother wasn't notified for two days?! I would be livid! I hope the school and the boy's parents pay for counseling for that poor girl, and have the boys do community service to pay the debt.

community service? what good would that do..while they are doing their community service , they could spy another girl and attack her...severe punishment with adult incarceration would teach them a lesson they wiould never forget....the girl is scarred for life and you offer community service as punishment...it has been proven time and time again, sex offenders cannot be rehabilitated

DISGUSTING. Elementary school age children should not even know how to force someone to perform oral sex. Porn is available at their fingertips these days, and it's damaging children in more ways than this.

I'm not sterotyping anyone. The school is a failed school as are many many others in Miami Dade; fire the teachers, fire the school board, fire the mayor, fire the parents. Miami is a cesspool. I imagine other large cites are the same, but I won't comment because I don't live there...Miami is a failed state, take that back, Haiti is a failed state...We are going to spend billions in Haiti; divert the $$$ to Miami schools...

Then I will apologize to you rainbowroosie if I misunderstood your comment and I quote, "Check the demographics: poor area, school is 92% black, 6% hispanic, 2% other; school rates 3 stars of 10 possible stars on schoolwdie testing (understand that 3 stars is pitiful); no data available on teachers/administrators salaries, but I'd "guess" it's below Miami Dade's average; are we really suprised by this???"

I looked at it wrong, it just appeared you were saying that the people in that catagory, with the "Are we really suprised by this?"....it made me thing of what I said. If that isn't what you meant, then please forgive me.

I do agree with you about your monetary comments, we should fix our own problems first before branching out to other countries. I feel as if most countries don't care about us, why should we care about them, right?

Is the only punishment these boys are undergoing expulsion from that school and enrollment at another? Why?

I agree, isn't that pathetic? One of their punnishments should be to have to do the grade they are in all over again...and their parents should have to pay restitution to the victim's family. Meaning they should have to pay for the child's counseling.

no, they will be in juvenile court..but don't expect a severe punishment...I wonder who their next victims will be..new schools, new hunting grounds

epoptika , why don't you shut up and go back to school and learn how to spell. If you're going to be using big words, at least learn how to spell them correctly.

under his premise, we should let them do whatever they want..hell if they want ot take a bat and beat someone to death let them do it..next we will hear the little girl was asking for it because of the way she was dressed...
by CitizenMikeM March 25, 2010 9:48 PM EDT
Hmmmm. I didn't see any misspelled words in epoptika's post. Could you perhaps be misinterpreting what some of her words mean?

Probably they will be told by system "Please bobby, please.. do not do this again, PLEASE Bobby!" no go and get your icecream. THat girl should not have been there to begin with.

The right way is..... drop those little monster in adult jail for 4 months then rellease them to their parents
