When the counting was complete, officers had recovered just shy of $26,000. According to authorities in Spokane, the suspect, Lukeisha Harris, apparently had the room to conceal the stolen cash.
"Well as I understand it, this is a very large suspect. She was described by bank tellers as heavy set. The police report indicated that she was six foot and 400 pounds," Spokane County Sheriff Sergeant Dave Reagan told local station KXLY.
Harris' alleged co-conspirators apparently competed with the feminine fraudster's unusual antics by lying about their identities
When deputies arrested 25-year-old Corey Jones and 23-year-old Elicionne L. Washington for first degree theft: "Both [gave] the same name of Aurora Wright. Well that doesn't work out in our book. So we say, 'Let's see some ID.' 'Oh its in my bible in the car!' They open up the bible and a whole bunch of IDs fall out of the bible," Spokane County Sheriff Sergeant Dave Reagan said according to KXLY.
It's suspected that the not-so-holy group targeted a series of banks to acquire large cash advances from stolen credit cards. Investigators conducted surveillance of the clan before making the large - wait for it - bust.
