Time Person Of The Year Ben Bernanke Keeps Rates At Zero

Executive Editor Jack Otter and I discussed Time Magazine's naming of Ben Bernanke as "Person of the Year" BEFORE the interest rate non-decision today (click here to view the video).
In case you missed the FOMC meeting results, here are the highlights:
• Rates will remain exceptionally low for an extended period of time
• The economy is picking up, albeit slowly
• Labor market deterioration is abating
• Liquidity facilities will end in Q1 2010
