"Miss Me Yet?" Bush Merchandise a Hit Online

The cheery image of former President George W. Bush appeared on a billboard in Minnesota earlier this month, next to the words, "Miss me yet?" It appears a lot of people think it's a fair question.

The online store CafePress saw a spike in demand for items featuring the same image as the billboard, the New York Daily News reports. Ten "Miss Me Yet?" items were on the company's list of its top-selling designs, CafePress spokeswoman Jenna Martin told the Daily News.

"There were no Obama-themed designs on the list," she said. "Bush has stolen the political spotlight, just like Sarah Palin did the week before when she re-surfaced with crib notes written in her palm."

Obama-themed merchandise saturated the Washington area around the time of the president's inauguration last year, but by the fall, the enthusiasm for Obama caps, t-shirts, commemorative plates and so forth, seemed to fizzle. U.S. News and World Report noted earlier this month that even the Obama Store, located in tourist-filled Union Station, has closed, in what "may be the most tangible sign yet that the [Obama] honeymoon is over."

They said their ten of the top selling items on their website are Bush-related items. What I want to know is, are they the top ten? Or are they 10 of the top 50 items (or 100 items, or whatever)? My brother loves witty political items, and his birthday is coming up, and I want to get him a personalized custom gift, and I want to get him the most popular (since that implies funniest or best).

This is a funny trend. I think we need someone to make a howling wolf t shirt but instead of wolves but profiles of Bush howling at the moon. That'd be priceless.

These Bush displays are great and much better than the typical advertisements that would grace the billboard. Unless it's a sign for a skull guitar, I'd much rather see these humorous signs. http://xrayguitar.com

"U.S. News and World Report noted earlier this month that even the Obama Store, located in tourist-filled Union Station, has closed, in what "may be the most tangible sign yet that the [Obama] honeymoon is over." I am not surprised by this at all. He is totally inept in the capacity of President.

That billboard of President Bush is fantastic! I have give props to whoever thought that up. It is a fair question. It could be a great idea for some greeting cards like at www.reggiescards.com I bet there would be an entire market of people who like political cartoons and stuff who would love something like that on a card or calendar to hang on the wall.

Yes... I gotta say... since Obama keeps shoving us closer to socialism and wealth redistribution... yes Miss George W. Bush... but... Bush screwed us over on Immigration... he should have done what Arizona is now doing with SB1070 - UpYoursObama.com
