Another 9/11 Unlikely, Biden Says

Vice President Joe Biden said it is unlikely the United States will see another terrorist attack of the proportions of the events of Sept. 11, 2001, but that the nation could still be the target of more "small bore" attacks.

"The idea of there being a massive attack in the United States like 9/11 is unlikely, in my view," Biden said Wednesday night on CNN's "Larry King Live." "But if you see what's happening, particularly with al Qaeda and the Arabian Peninsula, they have decided to move in the direction of much more small bore but devastatingly frightening attacks."

The attempted Christmas Day bombing last year in Detroit represents the types of threats the country is more likely to face, he said. Biden added that the Obama administration, however, has handled the threat well.

"I've been really impressed with the success we've had, building on the last administration, in dealing with these," Biden said.

In terms of threats to stability abroad, Biden said Iran becoming a nuclear state was "a real concern, not an immediate concern."

More pressing, he said, is the situation in Pakistan.

"It has nuclear weapons that are able to be deployed," the vice president said. "It has a real significant minority of radicalized population. It is not a completely functional democracy in the sense we think about it. And so that's my greatest concern."

Meanwhile, Biden said that progress in Iraq "could be one of the great achievements of this administration."

"You're going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer," he said. "You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government."

Biden also touched on topics including politics and the economy. He said that he expects to see a net creation of jobs every month starting this spring. He also said his former opponent, former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is an "engaging person" with a "great personality" even though he does not agree with everything she says.

Of course it's all an individual opinion but I firmly believe that as far as 9/11 goes there is a slim chance as I'm quite certain it would never have occurred had both the elections not been stolen. Having read just about everything I could find on the subject pro and con and having read the original "wolfowitz doctrine" as well as the current "doctrine" they pretty much state that 9/11 or "another Pearl Harbor" will have to happen in order to get what they wanted. They got exactly that. I don't believe they knew "exactly" what was going to happen but basically gave the go ahead to do something that would give them enough just cause to go after Saddam Hussein. The night they made Bush the official President I cried for two hours knowing even then that we were going to be at war before the end of his first term, I was far from the only one who knew he'd go after Saddam no matter what it took. The governing principle for every Government IS war. And I know that this comment is going to get thrashed having said what it is I am saying, I could pretty much care less though I do find it sad. I haven't read any of the comments myself nor do I plan to come back and find out what was written in response so advice to those who this pisses off, don't waste your time in trying to drive some point home to me. I'm pretty fixed in my belief on this subject and again will never know either way what is said. I do write this to open the eyes of those who have them closed shut. One thing is certain, the twin towers and the 7th building (which should have NEVER come down) as a architect myself and a full understanding of physics the only way Both of those towers at that height or even short could have come down the way buildings do when we have them demolished is to have planned it that way. The only reason the 7th building could have come down is the same, and if you look it up and find out what that building held? The answer is right there. I do believe the President was in shock as he read to those children thinking to himself "wow, this is it? What the hell do I do now?" wondering "am I going to get caught or will I become even richer? God bless those Bin Ladens!"
Why are we so easily swayed to believe the ridiculous when the truth and obvious are staring us in the face? Well, one answer of many is because we don't want to believe it so we swallow the full helpings of BS they feed us even when we know damn well it isn't the truth. Two buildings of that size and strength coming down in perfect symmetry and the one that was hit last comes down first? It just doesn't, nor could it have happened the way they say. It's just one more magic bullet only a hell of a lot more obvious.
I'm not a republican and I'm not a democrat I'm a human being who loves other human beings of all colors, races, creeds, etc.. but Bush and his cronies had planned "world order" back in the sixties when the W. Doctrine was written, and Cheney, Rumsfeld and others were present with Wolfie. As far as the VP always being dumber (as I just read through the comments) is so far from true in this case it isn't even funny. Bush was simply a mouth piece and a poor excuse for one at that, Cheney couldn't have gotten elected no matter what he did they needed someone who could and was too stupid to know, or care about what he was getting into. Again, knock yourself out trying to destroy what I write here it's a waste of time and only destroys any credibility that you may have had, but instead why not just take the chance and look into it. Really look into it, with an open mind and heart. Christianity is supposed to be pure and good yet has killed more people in the name of "Christianity" than any other group on record. Why is it so impossible that our own government would do what they have done, and sadly not just the Bush term or just the Republicans. We kill all over the world for mainly one thing... money. We don't want to learn from our history so are destined to repeat it. Sticking your head in the sand and crying out that the world is flat isn't going to get you any further. Believe what you want, it's your choice, your right and I respect that. Please just read up with a completely open mind, read the actual facts, do some true research I know I did. I believe what I do not just based on instincts but mainly on facts. It's always been survival of the fittest and the more intelligent will always win out in the long run. Those that follow and do what they're told? Not so much. Look where it landed the Nazi's. Think you're nothing like them and it could never happen to you? If you believe Bush actually won either election than it's already happened. Good luck and the best to all especially those who think for themselves.

If this wasn't so serious, I would be laughing. biden is a joke. he and his 'leader' and I use that term loosely are making it easy for the islamic muslims to take over this country. afterall, the biggest detriment to the security of our nation sits in the WH. when is it going to be seen barack, steve, barry or whatever his name is, is a traitor and needs to be impeached, tried imprisoned and/or deproted?

God Bless the United States of America and may she always be free

"Half of all immigrant households with children are on welfare. HALF! These are supposed to be people doing "jobs Americans won't do." Sounds more like they're collecting government benefits U.S. citizens can't get!"

We liked you Joe but here's a dose of reality.
At the present, there's no downside when one of these scumbags hearing Allah calling their number.
First, he believes that he will get the 72 virgins when he completed his mission (most likely the other scumbags that blow themselves up before him, what a cruel joke for him to find out this way but I digress).
Second, if he fails, he can be sure barack and eric will take good care of him, not like the mean old Bush and Cheney.
Third, he gets a huge stage and the attention of the world to spew his perverted views.
So Joe, you need to talk some senses into your boss. We don't have Secret Service protections like he or you, our asset are all expose.

None of us libs think Biden is smart or knows what he's talking about. That's why Biden is VP, not President. You see, unlike the Republicans, we tend to put the smart guy in the President's chair, and the dumb guy in the VP's chair. You Republicans used to do that until you put Bush SR. in office, kicking off a trend of putting the smart guy in the VP chair, and the dumb guy in the Presidents chair.

Bush's one claim to fame in 8 years as President was that we only got attacked once. Well, that and the Anthrax thing, and Richard Reid, and tens of thousands of attacks on American soldiers placed in Afghanistan and Iraq, and thousands of crimes committed by illegal aliens who walked across the Mexican border, but other than all that, we only got attacked once while George Bush was President, so Republicans are waaay better at defense than Democrats.

VP Biden is just incredible! Another 9/11 unlikely to happen? What makes him think that? It was blind luck that the Underwear bomber didn't kill amost 300 people on Christmas day, and depending where the plane crashed we could have had hundreds or thousands of people on the ground? And Obama is so busy having Miranda rights read to terrorists that they don't even bother to interrogate them anymore. Miranda rights, billion dollar circus trials in NYC, intelligence agencies on the run from Obama's justice dept. Who is VP Biden kidding?

The underwear bomber could have killed a million people!!!! What he actually did was burn a hole in his underwear. In Obama's first year, a plane full of people had to smell burning underwear. In Bush's first year, we had 9/11, the DC Sniper, the Anthrax attacks, and Richard Reid's shoe bomb.

Socialist, marxist, commie, ACORN, Birth Certificate....

Now that I have that off my chest. I believe ol Biden is right.

Only during a freedom decreasing, warmongering, low IQ'd, fascist Republican rule could we pizz off the Idiot extremist religoterrorist Muslims enough to attack us like that.
