Carly Fiorina "Demon Sheep" Ad Inspires Opponents

(FCINO/youtube)
In an audio message posted there, DeVore vows that his campaign "will forever be a demon sheep-free zone." There is also a video from the candidate in which he promises not to rely on "silly slogans" in his effort.
Meanwhile, a commercial producer tells Fishbowl LA that Fiorina's spot – the point of which is to suggest that another candidate in the Republican primary race, Tom Campbell, isn't a real fiscal conservative – probably cost around $15,000 to produce.
"Wow...they did shoot all of that sheep stuff. It wasn't stock footage," said the producer, adding that the shoot involved "paid crew for the sheep stuff and an editor for two days worth of cutting that stuff, titling, paid crew, equipment rental and effects."
Campbell himself is embracing the spot, using it in a fundraising email that says "Carly's ad likens fiscal conservatives to sheep, and Tom to a demon sheep, without mentioning a single federal issue or proposing a single solution to America's economic woes."
We've posted the spot above, in case you haven't yet seen it. The demon sheep show up around the 2:20 mark.
(If you can't get enough of the demon sheep -- and we'll admit we're in that camp -- check out the trailer for "Black Sheep," a horror film that just might have served as the Fiorina campaign's inspiration.)
