Former top White House aide Karl Rove is divorced from his wife of 24 years, Politico reports.

"Karl Rove and his wife, Darby, were granted a divorce last week," family spokeswoman Dana Perino told Politico. "The couple came to the decision mutually and amicably, and they maintain a close relationship and a strong friendship. There will be no further comment, and the family requests that its privacy be respected."

Rove served as a senior adviser and deputy chief of staff for former President George W. Bush until 2007. A family friend told Politico that Rove's marriage fell under incredible stress during his time working in the Bush administration. The adviser was credited for crafting Mr. Bush's successful presidential campaign bids but came under scrutiny during investigations of the politically motivated firings of U.S. attorneys.

Rove's memoir, "Courage and Consequence," is slated for release on March 9, 2010.

The fat, evil, Rove turd deserves even much worse demise than this, but a second divorce is proper for such a thug. He really should be executed for treason for destroying our democratic and representative government.

How can anyone believe Rove's book details when he sorely lacked credibility during the Bush administration?

Some poor woman was stuck with this corrupt and hateful liar for way too many years. Rove struck me as someone who would marry mutiple times, but regardless he definitely is a cheater. He was carrying on an affair with some woman in government who lives in TX.

What, what happened to Mr. Family Values? He only wants to impose values on others, not himself. What a fraud.

In the end, the historical value of Karl Rove is that he became a human canvas in the media, upon which the liberals painted in vivid thought and deed that theirs is the ideology of hatred, contempt, ill spirit and fear of anything and anyone that is not in lockstep with their dogmatic, fascist ideology.

Exhibit A of the day would be the majority of colorful if not otherwise hateful posts to this article, one would think.
