Oprah Hits White House to Interview Obama

(CBS/AP)
Winfrey "descended on the White House on Thursday, accompanied by a giant array of personnel and equipment," according to the Associated Press. In addition to interviewing the first couple, she took a tour of the White House and its holiday decorations.
The talk show host, who recently announced that she would end her show in two years, recently held a high-profile sit down with former GOP Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
Winfrey backed Mr. Obama during the presidential campaign, breaking with her longtime practice of remaining neutral in elections.
The holiday special is scheduled to air on ABC on Sunday, December 13th.
Winfrey has not interviewed Mr. Obama, a fellow Chicagoan, since he became president, though she did interview him as a candidate.
The interview took place on the same day that the president held a jobs summit and participated in the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.
