Ryan: Romney will hit Obama in debates

(CBS News) FT. COLLINS, Colo.-- At a town hall here Wednesday, at least one person was anxious enough about the upcoming presidential debate to ask vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan about how Republican nominee Mitt Romney would perform?

Would he pack a punch and take it to Obama?

"Absolutely," Ryan said, responding to a woman who said she was concerned after watching GOP presidential nominee John McCain debate Obama in 2008. "One little difference between then and now, President Obama has a record and President Obama has a record and a string of broken promises."

Ryan said that the Republican ticket owes the electorate alternatives to the policies of the last four years. Recent polls have shown Romney trailing Obama is several key swing states, sparking criticism that the campaign has not offered sufficient details of its alternative vision.

"We are not simply asking you to fire Barack Obama because he's not worth re-hiring," Ryan said. "We're asking you to fire Barack Obama because we are worth hiring because we have better ideas."

The only problem with the statement above is - They, Romit & Ry-on, cannot or will not explain what those "better ideas" are.... I've got a "better idea" - why not explain, in detail, what they plan to do if elected?

Perhaps in their minds they are "better ideas", but without detail who's to say they are "better ideas" for the country??

QUESTIONS TO THINK ABOUT .
Have you ever heard of a Catholic that was in favor of the Constitutional proper decision of Roe v Wade?
Have you ever heard of a Catholic that stated the Constitution is the law of the US, and they believe in it?
Have you ever heard of an illegal alien that was not Catholic? They are either Catholic or dead!
Have you ever heard of a Catholic in congress that voted to close the borders?
Have you found any nation south of the US border that allowed gun ownership?
Have you ever heard of a successful Catholic nation? Think PIIGS, France and everything south of the US. (there are none)

If you want the borders secure, or for any woman to have rights, are you going to vote for any Catholic?

I have a question. Is there a successful Catholic nation in the world? Please name one.
Romney is in bed with the Catholics. What is the difference between Muslim and Catholic? Both oppress other folks. Both are parasites. Both have dogma instead of brains. Neither can learn. And we have Catholic running our congress. It is total Insanity to have elected officials running our government with goals supporting a foreign government. There is also no compromise possible with the Vatican. Exactly the same rules apply. The Vatican is a foreign hostile government to the US. Catholics pledge to the pope, not the Constitution. These are traitors. Vote all the Catholic out and restore the Constitution.

The mainstream press won't report it truthfully even if Romney wins. It is unfortunate that truth and fairness get shoved aside by men like Scarborough and most of CBS, NBC and CNN in order to elect a president who is intent on destroying the economy and the American dream. An inept, bungling president who has no more interest in governing than Mickey Mouse can still get elected because of media bias to the extreme. My bet is the moderator of these debates won't let Romney get to truth because he'll be throwing softball questions at Obama and then cover for his mistakes even if he fumbles, falls and gets walked all over.
I find it sad that liberals are so intent on falling in step that they make the Germans of World War two look like rebels. To bad when its all over and the well drys up that you will all be wondering what happened because you let Obama fool you twice.
Look at the issues. The middle class is worse off, the middle east is falling apart, and you guys talk like its all Romneys fault. I don't care who the candidate is if you vote for Obama you'll get more taxes on the middle class (he's already added fifteen hundred dollars to those with Obama care), more debt to pass to your children, your parents will lose social security simple because the money will run out. But man is he cool!

So if he gets elected and drops the ball again, and again and again, and you all find yourselves out of work and out in the cold reality of 20 trillion dollars of debt remember it was your fault because you elected a man who has already ready broken enough promises to set records, lies like its second nature and spends our money like there is no tomorrow.

So tell me, if you have all the answers, what office are you running for? Ok, so maybe you are a news expert. What paper do you write for? Oh wait, you have not provided any good arguments based on fact. You have it worked out that if Romney loses, it was all predisposed. What is a liberal? What is it that you think Romney can bring to this country that is new and refreshing? Has he shared specifics with you? If you are unsatisfied, get off your duff and bring about change! I am so tired of people show seem to sum it all up in 'Nanny, nanny, boo boo' life is so unfair.

Rush Limbaugh, Rupert Murdoch, Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly and Glenn will not report on the debates?
Isn't it newsworthy?
Aren't they "reporters"?

JV1970 yes common sense says one thing and if he was stupid enough to literally attack its not that far to Guantanamo and a cool off cell.. Yes JV1970 i"m kidding as the hype artist that used the bad title for a debate. Just too many extremists here and not enough level headed Moderates to run the nation in an honest and fair way neither left nor right but a clean path for all.

Wearing your Dorothy from Oz shirt again Mr. Ryan. I will be watching to see what Romney has to say. If you were so sure of Romney's win, why are you not letting someone else take your place on the ballot for representative?

I can't wait to see President Obama mop the floor with Robme Robot. All Mittens will do during debates is continue to tap dance around every issue, avoid giving any specifics, and simply say "trust me, I'm going to make lots of changes but you have to elect me first to find out what those changes are and how they will affect 'you people'." NO THANKS Mittens....we are on a good path right now and want to keep it going in the right direction! Obama/Biden 2012!

romney will wipe the floor with obama in the debates, obummer's record is so bad it cant even be defended. a high school debate student could beat obama, how is obama going to convice the people that 43months of over 8 percent unemployment real rate is 15.7% and Gasoline prices increasing 109% since he took office not to mention the middle east on fire due to his appeasment and apology policies . that giving obummer another 4 years and he will fix everything he screwed up in the first 4 years is not even believable. obama is toast.

Alternatives, yes. Lets see some that they can continue to hold solid on to for oh, say 24 hours. Willard is blazing a fiery path across the sky and crashing to earth in flames which he set with his own dishonesty. If he had been the reasonable moderate from Mass, he would have been acceptable to most Amewricans. But he followed McCain's path to the nomination by selling out everything he had ever stood for. So now he stands for $$, nothing more and will follow McCain down the toilet. Thank God.

All the Catholics (R and D alike) that have joined together to keep the borders open are traitors.
I have a question. Is there a successful Catholic nation in the world? Please name one. Do not vote for failure, R or D.
