Former Rep. Gabby Giffords in Charlotte for DNC

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Former Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona is in town for the Democratic National Convention, sources confirm to CBS News.

Giffords is "excited to be here," a source said. While she is participating in the convention at which President Obama will accept the Democratic nomination for president, she has no "formal role" tonight, according to the Obama campaign. It's possible Giffords could have a formal role on Thursday, the final night of the convention. Roll Call reports she will deliver the Pledge of Allegiance.

The former congresswoman was severely wounded in a 2011 mass shooting in Tucson, Arizona, and she stepped down from Congress in January this year to continue her recovery.

Gabby Giffords is the most amazing person I've ever known. Just knowing she is well enough to attend the DNC is enough to put a tear in my eye, but giving the Pledge of Allegience? WOW! That's my girl.

Well, the Vatican now has a leg in to the D party. Heck they had that already with Pilosi, Boehner, Barney frank, Biden etc. Watch, watch and the US can be just as failed as every C nation south of the US border. A hundred nations and a thousand years of perfect failure. The US is next.

The Vatican does not negotiate with any nation, the history is strictly subjugation. The document the Vatican uses as the guiding of the Vatican is the C(atholic) bible. The Vatican has never, nor will never accept any document (such as the US Constitution) to be above the C(atholic) bible. Therefore, peace is not possible. The Vatican is at war aganinst any and all nations that are not of the C(atholic) dogma. This war is unending.

The Vatican does not believe in any woman rights.
There are really three parties in the US. There are R, D and C. The C is the shadow party and spans both R and D. There are more Cs in the D party than the R. The R Cs, are now the bad cops, and the Ds are the good cops. Watch out, both are bad. The C (Vatican) is a foreign, hostile nation that subjugates all others. The Vatican logic is that the bible is the supreme document of all nations and will accept nothing else. This is undeclared war unending. It has dogma (laws) that will not be discussed. The Cs now occupy a third of Congress and Senate, and are muckling up everything. Check and you will find this is true. California has now been C for 20 years, and is a failure. Everything south of the US is C and is a failure. Do not vote for failure.
