Obama super PAC olympics ad: Romney goes for the gold for himself
(CBS News) A super PAC supporting President Obama is tying together Mitt Romney's Olympics experience, Bain Capital career and foreign tax shelters in a new ad released as Romney visits London for the 2012 Olympic Games.
The new ad from Priorities USA Action will run in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia during the Olympics. The spot juxtaposes footage of Romney at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games, which he ran, with mocking narration and video about countries where Romney sheltered money and where companies backed by Bain while Romney was CEO reportedly moved jobs.
The footage shows Romney walking out and waving in full Olympic garb as an announcer says he is waving to China ("thousands owe their jobs to Mitt Romney's companies,"), Burma ("where Romney had the uniforms made for the 2002 games,"), and Bermuda ("home to a secretive corporation set up by Romney. No one knows why. And Romney won't tell,"). There are also nods to India and Switzerland for outsourcing and a bank account, respectively.
"Ya gotta say this about Mitt Romney," the narrator concludes. "He sure knows how to go for the gold...for himself."
Priorities USA has run a series of ads that tie Romney to workers who were laid off at companies acquired by Bain Capital.
"If shafting the middle class were an Olympic sport, Mitt Romney would win the gold," said Priorities USA Action senior adviser Paul Begala in a statement from the group. "We all cheer for Team America on the field of play, but Romney has put foreign investment ahead of American jobs. In the global economic competition for jobs, Mitt Romney is not on our side."
"When Mitt Romney was working to turn around the Olympics, Barack Obama was voting 'present' in the Illinois State Senate," said Romney spokeswoman Amanda Henneberg. "President Obama does not have a record to run to run on, so his liberal allies are resorting to false attacks in an effort to distract voters. President Obama's record of broken promises and failed policies can't match Mitt Romney's record of creating jobs and rescuing troubled enterprises."

Meanwhile we have this greedy, lying slimewad RobMe who only cares about himself and his equally corrupt and greedy scum on Wall Street. He wants to start another war to help his greedy war profiteering friends. He wants to privatize social security to help his greedy Wall Street masters. He wants to continue to outsource jobs (which he has plenty of experience at) to drive down wages for the middle class to help Wall Street like the good parasitic puppet that he is.
Must be the mormon philosophy!
He hides his taxes, he hides his Bain records, he hides and destroys Olympics records, he hides and destroys public records from his tenure as Mass. governor, he even hides his money in other countries...
Mitt is not someone we can trust to be transparent and accountable.
