Jindal: Obama "most liberal, most incompetent" president since Carter

Responding to Obama's statement that the private sector was doing fine, he added: "Mr. President, I've got a message for you: The private sector is not doing well when 23 million Americans are unemployed and underemployed in this great country. This president, the private sector is so foreign to him he might need a passport to actually go visit and he might need a translator to help him talk to folks in the private sector."
Jindal, who has not yet campaigned with Romney, grabbed his chance Friday to try on the attack-dog role traditionally given to running mates. He called Obama "themost liberal, most incompetent president in the White House since Jimmy Carter," and accused him of staying out of the Wisconsin recall election this week out of cowardice.
"Did he not go to Wisconsin because he was afraid of hurting himself by backing a loser?" Jindal wondered. "He shrunk from this challenge. He elected to stay away from Wisconsin for fear of losing. That's not what leaders do."
Neither Obama nor Romney went to Wisconsin to campaign in this week's bitter recall election pitting GOP Gov. Scott Walker against Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. Asked about Romney's absence, Jindal replied, "Obviously Mitt had his own nomination campaign to run but he was very clear that he stood with Scott, very clear that Scott needed to be reelected, that what Scott was doing was good for the state of Wisconsin."
Jindal gave a boilerplate expression of disinterest when asked about his name coming up as a possible vice president. "I've got the job that I want," he told reporters after his speech. "I'm not going to speculate on what Gov. Romney is going to do, I'm not going to comment on his process the same way four years ago I didn't comment on any of the speculation back then. All I'm going to say is that I look forward to supporting whoever Gov. Romney selects to be on his ticket."

Why are you working in public sector if private sector is so wonderful? Why don't you get out of public sector and go work in private sector?
Oh that's right, then you can't funnel the tax dollars to the pockets of your buddies in big oil. Can't you see that the Republican party is using you to wipe their rear ends? Don't you have any pride in yourself? I'm so disappointed in you.
Mr. Obama is infinitely more incompetent than even Jimmy Carter.
POTUS deftly turned the tables on America's belligerence, perceived as such all around the globe; an after effect of 9-11. Yes, we were not to blame for what the AQ started, but it appears we got distracted from the mission for too long, and stirred up a lot of anger around the world. It is also clear that POTUS policy has calmed the international waters, and in the second term he will bring his laser focus to domestic issues. Note that GOP, including Jindal, have not put forward any plans, let alone credible ones, for ramping up the economy, domestic or global. Wait till the debates begin, and we'll see if Romney has any clothes. It appears what ails the world economy is the way we build up and practice economics, both as an art and science, and governance may not be at the heart of this downturn.
One thing we can do in the short term is approve a large stimulus, as Krugman and others have been pleading, as only the US can do, to jumpstart some serious infrastructure rebuilding activity that will then, hopefully, trigger global expansion...while Romney and GOP gang preaches us vs. Russians and stuff that even high school graduates don't believe anymore ! Wait till he gets trounced on by Obama at the approaching prez debates...can hardly wait for these debates to begin !
Obama was able to fulfill his promise of getting our troops out Iraq, and also through his policies he jump started the economy.
My co-worker was able to refinance is underwater mortgage because of the Obama administration's new programs.
As a direct result, we are much better off today than we were when Bush was in office.
Now with regard to this Jindal character, Obama may be liberal, but he is definitely not incompetent.
I suspect that many in the Obama administration really don't believe in private enterprise. At best they see business as something to be endured so that that it can provide tax money for government programs," said Jindal.
It is a superb quote because it is so accurate and so insightful. This is different from the usual political cant and demagoguery. People, please take note. The free enterprise system was a pretty good system. It made us the richest country in the world. We ought to go back to it. My hat is off to Governor Jindal.
