Obama attack ad marks turning point in campaign

Today marks a turning point in the campaign as President Obama's team begins what they say will be a relentless attack on Mitt Romney's strongest asset, his business acumen and perceived reputation as a job creator.

One of the first negative attack ads by Obama's re-election campaign will air in Colorado, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Nevada, and features former steel workers who lost their jobs. (watch at left)

The script says "Bain Capital made at least $12 million on GS Industries before it declared bankruptcy and sought elimination of the pension, health, and life insurance plans."

Bain Capital was co-founded by Romney. The failure of GS Industries is not a bright spot in Bain's record. But Bain may not be to blame for the company's failure. At that time, an influx of cheap imports forced nearly half of the U.S. steel industry into bankruptcy.

This is a test of whether Romney can successfully defend his record, the very record he plans to make the centerpiece of his plan to prove he's a better choice to turn around America's economy.

As he is also running on the economy, Mr. Obama plans to try and prove that Romney would take the U.S. "backward."

Romney wants to sux the life out of this countrys economy like he did to the businesses he bought and managed as CEO of Bain Capital. It can't be more simple Tea Baggers.

If the Repugnant Repubs are calling Obama the Gay President for helping overcome the failed hysteria of the GOP hate groups to back Gay rights then Mittens Romney was a Gay Governor. He fully endorsed Gay rights and equality in 1994.

Me thinks Mittens Romney has a drinking problem or extreme memory lapses!

Now Mittens the leader of the GOP loves to hate progress, the prosperity of others, but he loves to destroy the lives of the people that were unfortunate to have worked in companies which he bought and whacked. He likes pillaging his acquisitions.

Just love Obama's hypocrisy. When one of President Obama's top supporters, Jonathan Lavine, was managing director at Bain Capital, he presented a $100,000 donation to Obama's campaign. Romney was not part of Bain when GS Technologies went bankrupt, Jonathan Lavine was.

Good luck trying to make complex business transactions any easier to understand than "raiding pensions"

...and "3 1/2 years of economic failure" is inaccurate, smokey, as is suddenly trying to pretend it is all due to Obama's policies. That dog don't hunt.
