Santorum says Alabama, Mississippi results "greatly" exceeded his expectations

Following his big night on Tuesday, CBS News asked Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum if the results met his expectations or exceeded them.

"I'd say greatly exceed," he said with a happily stunned look on his face after addressing supporters in Louisiana. "We're very excited!"

When asked how the results could change the race, he said: "As I've been saying... this adventure's going to be a two person race, and when it does, the conservative will win."

Santorum won GOP primaries in Alabama and Mississippi on Tuesday night.

Stunned like a deer in headlights....then... WHAP!....he's still not president. Jumping in front of bus might be a better option than Santorum....he'd make a better representative for the Vatican.......in Rome......far away.... from guns... or pointy sticks.

Romney lives on another planet.

Gingrich should be serving freedom fries in a fast food joint.

Ron Paul should have gone independent.

Obama needs to adopt some of Ron Paul's more brilliant ideas...

STOP lying to yourselves.... we know what they are..

Or i foresee, 4 more years of absolutely NOTHING happening and another great depression.

Just my opinion of course.
