Huntsman calls Ron Paul "unelectable" because of racist newsletters

Campaign 2012

A day after new polling that shows Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul with a clear lead over Jon Huntsman in the critical primary state of New Hampshire, the Huntsman campaign has released an aggressive new web ad attacking Paul for publishing racist and homophobic essays.

In the video, titled "Unelectable," the Huntsman campaign focuses on the newsletters published under Paul's name in the 1980s and 1990s, which included controversial comments about African-Americans. Paul has disavowed the newsletters, insisting that he did not write the controversial comments, nor did they represent his beliefs.

Asked earlier this month by CBS News and National Journal if the newsletters were fair game, Paul responded, "I don't know whether fair is the right word."

Fairness doesn't count for much in politics, however. Huntsman has staked his campaign on making a strong showing in New Hampshire, and he may have to siphon off some support from Paul if he wants to claw his way into the top tier. In a CNN poll released Wednesday, Huntsman garnered just 9 percent support in New Hampshire. Mitt Romney took a commanding lead with 44 percent, while Paul came in second with 17 percent support.

Set to ominous music, the Huntsman video shows a montage of news clips about the newsletters before asking, "Can New Hampshire voters really trust Ron Paul?"

As he's gained traction in New Hampshire and Iowa in recent days, Paul has come under fire from nearly all of his GOP rivals, though most of them have focused on Paul's foreign policy views, rather than the newsletters.

Still, a pro-Paul super PAC is doing what it can to defend the Texas lawmaker against charges of racism. Revolution PAC released its own web video on Thursday that recounts how Paul, as a practicing obstetrician in south Texas in 1972, helped a bi-racial couple deliver their stillborn child after other doctors would not.

"He was a doctor of medicine, and that's what he was doing, practicing medicine," reflects James Williams, the African-American father. "It didn't matter who and what and why."

Revolution PAC is soliciting donations to air a broadcast version of the two-minute video.

What Huntsman and CBS are both too dishonest and/or irresponsible to mention is that:

* It was not "racist newsletters", it was business-finance newsletters, over 200 issues of which contained nothing racist.

* Only 9 issues of the financial newsletters contained "racist" articles.

* ALL of those 9 issues were published in Washington, DC during the time when Ron Paul was living in Texas, practicing medicine.

* When Paul lived in DC, practicing politics, no racist articles were ever published.

Therefore:

If anything, the "racist newsletters" serve as evidence that Paul is NOT racist.

The facts of the issue are available, in clear and concise format, here:

Huntsman's an idiot and he is actually unelectable. Don't worry here is what in reality is going on that all of them are missing totally!!!

Ron Paul will be elected in one of the largest landslides in history against Obama precisely because he is exactly the opposite of Obama. This is a clear case between Capitalism vs. Socialism, Freedom vs. Slavery, and life vs. death! All other republican candidates are to a much greater extent socialist especially Romney! That is why Paul is dominating. Right now. If you understand how ideas drive history you can clearly see that it is all of the freedom-oriented candidates vs. the complete socialist Romney. The only reason Gingrich surged is because people thought he was not a socialist too, but when they found out he plummeted. For voters Its just a matter of finding out what Paul really said and his true ideas and waking up to the understanding of liberty, freedom, capitalism, and individualism for the first time and you have the unstoppable phenomena that is sweeping Paul into the Presidency of the United States!!

?You have witnessed Ron Paul's campaign organization accomplish the waking up of Iowa voters! He did that in spite of the media and the neocon socialist republican leadership establishment. His campaign effectively marginalized them! When he moves into the next state New Hampshire it is just repeat process! He is now and Romney is all ready plummeting and Paul is rapidly rising!!! Obviously when all the other semi freedom candidates drop when Paul wins in Iowa their supporters will be added to Paul!. It is going to be one of the biggest landslide victories in republican primary history. It could be as high as 75% Paul to 25% Romney!

?You are getting passed by...by logic, reason and ideas! People don't just like Ron Paul they like Ron Paul because they are discovering the ideas of liberty, freedom, capitalism and individualism for the first time! Don't you think it's time to wake up yourself???? If you really want to understand read this booklist in order! http://66.147.244.196/~theinvio/?page_id=1388 The blog is not well written but the booklist is right on!

The MSM distorts and edits facts day in and day out to suit their own agenda. Look up Borger's husband, Lance Morgan, and his connection to getting funding for the Military Industrial Complex, among other things. Agenda driven??

See the real interview, nearly nine minutes long.

Is he a racist?

Please wake up, America, and see that the "establishment" is shaking in their boots and do not want their IV money drip removed from our arms.

Ron Paul 2012!

I worry for this country if Ron Paul is not elected. We have virtually no civil liberties left, look what we've done to the Middle East. Perpetual wars. Do you have kids? Grandchildren?

THINK ... decide for YOURSELF.

When Paul haters aren't busy marinating in ignorance they are claiming how non-intervention is isolationism. Explaining how free trade and self defense is not isolationism, you say that sanctions and installing dictators is what isolates.

"Texas Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul is not a racist and is being smeared as one because he is a clear threat to the political establishment" - Nelson Linder, Austin president of the NAACP."

http://www.therightperspective.org/2011/12/24/ron-paul-no-racist-naacp-austin-president/

Covering their ears while chanting 'la-la, isolationist, I can't hear you' you remember to expect the same amount of intellect when responding to charges of racism: ZERO.

Ron Paul owes his economic philosophy (Austrian Economics) to Jewish scholars like Ludwig Von Mises and praises MLK for his libertarian principle of non-aggression. As a doctor, he treated patients of all colors for free:

http://www.humblelibertarian.com/2011/12/video-in-1972-ron-paul-helped-mixed.html

Either there is such a thing as a racist man with Jewish heroes OR corporate owned media is recycling smears in order to stop a man who's very presence condemns the sellout politicians who own them.

They know that as President, the troops would be home day ONE, along with non-violent drug offenders which, sadly, many of whom are minorities. They know that if Paul is President, the party is OVER.

I suggest you do some honest research before you are fooled into empowering another fraud.

Anti-whites only force mass immigration and "assimilation" aka genocide on white countries.

They say they are "anti-racist",what they are is anti-white.

Anti-racism is just a codeword for anti-white.

Interesting story, but have you noticed they only ever write articles like this about White people?

Everybody says there is this RACE problem. Everybody says this RACE problem will be solved when the third world pours into EVERY white country and ONLY into white countries.

The Netherlands and Belgium are more crowded than Japan or Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve this RACE problem by bringing in millions of third worlders and quote assimilating unquote with them.

Everybody says the final solution to this RACE problem is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries to "assimilate," i.e., intermarry, with all those non-whites.

What if I said there was this RACE problem and this RACE problem would be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-blacks were brought into EVERY black country and ONLY into black countries?

How long would it take anyone to realize I'm not talking about a RACE problem. I am talking about the final solution to the BLACK problem?

And how long would it take any sane black man to notice this and what kind of psycho black man wouldn't object to this?

But if I tell that obvious truth about the ongoing program of genocide against my race, the white race, Liberals and respectable conservatives agree that I am a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews.

They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-white.

Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.

You do realize that light and dark skin are evolutionary traits having to do with sunlight levels in a given geographic region right?

If you took all the black people in Zimbabwe and moved them to Sweden and all the white people in Sweden and moved them to Zimbabwe in 20 thousand years all the black folks would be white and all the white folks would be black.

Ron Paul is called racist because he is white. Anti-racist is just a code word for anti-White.

Nobody is flooding and forcibly "integrating" every black nations and ONLY black nations with non-blacks and calling native blacks evil racists for opposing their replacement. This is happening in white nations and ONLY in white nations. They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-white. Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white. Its genocide.
