Lady Gaga to White House to talk bullying
Lady Gaga is visiting the White House Tuesday to meet with officials in the office of public engagement "to talk about the important issue of bullying," a senior White House official tells CBS News.
The flamboyant singer will not have a chance to discuss the issue with the president, who will be speaking in Kansas this afternoon.
The president and the performer did cross paths at a California fundraiser earlier this year, where Lady Gaga thanked Mr. Obama for hosting an anti-bullying conference.
The White House, whose "stop bullying" website specifically spotlights cyberbullying and LGBT bullying, is expected to reveal more about Lady Gaga's visit later today.

For you to state that you know there is no GOD in essence is you claiming that you are GOD. Only someone who knows everything would know if there is a GOD or not, so either you are GOD disproving your own claims, or you are not and therefore cannot make a valid claim that there is no GOD. Quite arrogant on your part to profess such a knowledge with such limited information. Even if you have a PHD in physics, you still have only knowledge equal to a grain of sand in the desert compared to the knowledge yet still to be learned.
Bullying has been around since I was a kid (I am 75). We handled it best when I was in school. Our parents taught us to hit a bully back twice as hard so he/she would never approach us again. We were also taught to assist our smaller more vulnerable classmates. Bullies only grow bolder if unchallenged. It worked but the problem these days is that kids are too stupid to settle their disputes OFF school property.
