New Herman Cain accuser to come forward with Gloria Allred

Another woman alleging that Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain sexually harassed her in the 1990's will come forward today, according to her attorney Gloria Allred.

According to a press release from Allred, the woman charges that Cain harassed her during his tenure as chief executive of the National Restaurant Association (NRA), when she sought help from him with an employment issue.

The woman plans to make her allegations public at a press conference with Allred on Friday at 1:30 p.m. in New York City.

Allred's client would be the first of Cain's accusers to speak publicly about the charges. Already, three former NRA employees have reported that they were harassed by Cain at the restaurant lobbying group; two of the women filed formal complaints and reached settlement agreements with the NRA.

Allred is known for taking on high-profile clients. Last year, she represented Nicky Diaz Santillan, the housekeeper that California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman fired because of her immigration status.

The fact that they were silent for 14 years tells you these attacks are politically-motivated. None of them can provide any evidence to support their accusations. It seems that most comments are being made by women-hating men who are more than slightly ignorgant.

After all, we should be more concerned about the Chinese developing nuclear weapons than this kind of dribble. Isn't that what Cain said?

Of course, most people are fully aware the Chinese have had nuclear capability since the 1960s.

He had better make a blanket statement now so he doesn't have to repeat himself each time. Reminds me long ago of how the mayor of a large eastern city was in Jail but still mayor. He in effect did run the city from the big house.

BTW here's anther interesting point about Cain. He is a southern baptist minister . the southern baptists bullwarked slavery and gave us the KKK and segregation.

And their root church was the anything but reformed "dutch reformed church " REsponsible for Apartheid in south africa.

May I remind those who now support the GOP of the mass exodus from the Democratic party when President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Acts? The Democratic Party rid itself of the bigots, racists and white supremicists during the decade of the sixties. Any person of color, female or Gay will find themselves provided lip-service from the GOP.
