Obama Gets his Flu Shot

CBS News has learned that President Obama received his seasonal flu shot this afternoon. Other members of the First Family had already gotten theirs.

As a healthy adult with no underlying conditions, President Obama does not fall into the priority group to receive the H1N1 flu shot just yet.

But he intends to get it when available to the general population.

by chanag-2009 October 26, 2009 4:16 AM EDT: The reason this is "news" is to deceive the public into getting the swine flu shot. There is so little critical thinking, people will read this and assume, "Oh, if the president took the [swine] flu shot.." and then they will go along with it.

It is absurd to justify Obama?s not taking the same (swine flu) shot he insists on for everyone else and, supposedly, because he is not part of a priority group. The presidential office is all about privilege for lesser things, and we normally take no issue with safeguarding the president?s life.

Now, when it comes to this suspect and untested vaccine, he is suddenly just one of the little people and is waiting his turn? It doesn?t add up, folks.; Reply to this comment


by dennisall77 October 21, 2009 9:50 AM EDT: WOW.. simple little note that Prez got flu shot so others might go get theirs too, and STILL the right has to rip into it... lordy, it is amazing that anonymity gives people such a head rush that they say stupid things thinking they are sooo smart.
