Todd Palin, the husband of polarizing former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has quite his job working in an oil field.

The Associated Press reports that Palin's resignation from the job as a production operator for BP was effective September 18th.

"Todd loved his union job on the Slope and hopes to return,'' Sarah Palin spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton said via email. "For now, he is spending time with his family."

The AP reports that Todd Palin made roughly $34,500 last year at the part time job, plus another $51,700 through the Palins' commercial fishing business. He also had $5,600 in snowmobile race winnings.

Has anyone learned anything about anything at all thru the course of history? For a country who speaks alot of God in everything this country sure is judgemental.......... In a time where what rights are left are at stake people focus on stuff that really doesnt matter........ Laws have been passed that force people of the united states to give up the same rights they are suppose to protect . ... For educated people running this country they sure lack any common sense ..... Any of your dumbfounded politicians read this then make some chang ............ U law makers are the root of the failure of this country .... I think that all the laws passed and bills passed that fail they should hold the lawmakers personally responsible and remove them from office.... U wanna report ur news on the palins ? I say report ur news of failing bills and laws and make a change .......

I just love how the Obama media has to put spin on stories, for example, Todd Palin, the husband of polarizing former Alaska governor, POLARIZING, OH PLEASE that could be said about Pelosi, Reid, Franks, or for that matter Obama, he has this country more divided than it has been in 40 years, but you would never use that word to describe any of them would you CBS, And then you wonder why people no longer trust the old media, your bias has just is getting tiresome.

I just love to to hear the panic in the left whenever Sarah Palin?s name is mentioned. They get very rude and obnoxious because they are afraid of her. Just as tolerant as they preach. Now just why would they fear her so much? The answer is easy. They know she is right about what America should be all about. The libs want to sit there with their hand out waiting for a lib gov to take care of them. That is not America; that is every socialist country in the world. If any lefty took the time to read her real record rather than what the brainwashed main stream media spoon feeds them, they would see that she is far from stupid. But, I know I am wasting my time even trying to get the libs to just be objective. They have no tolerance for that. They must hide behind lies that they cannot prove. Nothing new, just so boring.

The hatred the left has for the Palin's in general is almost Hitleresque. As a matter of fact , so many of you on the left are so far removed from reality, when it comes to Sarah Palin, that you do seem to think she's as much of a threat to humanity as Hitler. She may be a strong Pro-life Conservative, but she would do more to protect individual liberty than any candidate the left puts foward. For example; She would not force you by threat of penalty regarding your choice about your own health care. She would allow concerned parents in cities with lousy schools to send thier children to a school of thier choice. She would prefer to give individuals the right to work on a job without being forced into a union they would prefer not to pay dues to. She would prefer for justice to be blind, not socially engineersd. She believes in the limited neccessity of smaller government , not the bloated burocracy of big government Orwellianism. She believes that private property rights are sacrosanct and not subject to the whims of the greater good via Eminent Domain. [see Kilo vs. new london ct. All 5 left wing justices voted in favor of the state, over the individual]. If your concerns about Palin are that you think your rights are threatened? You should re- think your concerns. Because as our individual liberties are eroded it will be from the left side of the aisle , not the right. The excuses will be given as; fairness, equality, the greater good, and the biggest one of them all. The new state religon of, Environmentalism. When left wing politicians tell us that the debate is over regarding global warming or climate change, or whatever they call it. Then you know there's an agenda at work that's not just about global warming. And never forget, [The good of the collective is the claim and justification of every tyranny ever established over men].A.R.
