McCain "Honored" By Beck Insult

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck caused a bit of a stir this week, saying on the debut of @katiecouric, Katie Couric's new web-only interview show, that Sen. John McCain "would have been worse for the country than Barack Obama." (watch the Beck interview at left)

Beck also told Couric that McCain was a "weird progressive" like Theodore Roosevelt.

Well, McCain took that as a compliment, saying on the "The Early Show" Wednesday that "any time my name is mentioned in the same breath as Teddy Roosevelt, I am honored. Teddy Roosevelt's my hero."

Glen Beck is only interested in making his own news simply by packaging up his own misguided views and crying about them on the air. He's been caught bold face lying on a regular basis, and you can document it, but I'm sure you have no interest in the truth.

Every Glen Beck episode is loaded with half truths,false representations, and his own sanctimonious opinion.

Have you ever READ the Quran? Take a look. That 'religious' book of theirs tells them to hate and kill, paraphrasing it. Do some research Islam is Islam, and its not good for society whatsoever.

Yes I've read the Koran and the Bible. I also have two best friends who are Muslims (one from Pakistan and Lebanon) and live and work with people who are moderate Muslim. I even have visited the UAE onfor holiday. The majority of Muslims are moderate just as the majority of Christians are moderate. Please do some research and communicate with people you condemn so easily before spouting off any more garbage.

Inregards to the Bible, lucky moderate Christians don't blindly follow our own holy book. What would happen to ourselves and our neighbors if we did?

He shouldn't be! Roosevelt was a "Progressive", just like Obama, H. Clinton, Pelosi, Soros, and many others.

I truly believe that Progressive Liberals are a greater danger to the Republic than Islam is, and that's saying a lot!

CBS and these other networks are jokes. They REFUSE to look into this investigation. They REFUSE to ask what Obama meant when he said he wants to "fundamentally transform America", or when he talked about redistributing wealth.

All of you who never watched or listened to Beck, who come on here complaining and name calling. WHAT IS WRONG WITH QUESTIONING THE GOVERNMENT?! That is what you are SUPPOSE to do as a citizen in America! Get your heads from your rears and pay attention. There is so much going on right now that none of you know about because the media refuses to cover it. They refuse to tell you about it. They refuse to report the truth or ask the tough questions.

The ONLY reason McCain wouldve been worse is because he wouldnt have awakened the sleeping giant like Obama has. Obama has gone so far left, so fast, people have woken up and are speaking out.

I pity you liberals who get all your news from CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN who ALL cater to this administration. What happened to real journalism? What happened to questioning your government and as administration?; Reply to this comment

You shouldn't be able to tell who the reporter voted for. Just present the facts. Katie's such a suck up to the OB administration. Rarely does she actually do any investigative reporting. She treats Obama like he's God. Beck does raise interesting points, but he screws it up with his theatrics. Both losers in my opinion.; Reply to this comment
