Obama Faces Another Heckler at Health Care Rally

President Obama got heckled again today, this time at a health care rally at the University of Maryland.

One angry attendee at the rally in College Park, Md., shouted "Obama you're a liar. Obama, your health care kills children. Abortion is murder."

The heckler drew boos from the supportive crowd and, as he was escorted out of the building by officials, some threw cups and crumpled bags at him.

Only pausing for a moment, the president asked, "What's going on?" and quickly picked up from where he left off. Watch the video at left.

This article is seriously flawed. Although I am not a student of UMD, I am a recent college graduate and attended this rally. Here are the facts:

1. The gentleman in dreads is not a heckler. There is absolutely no way the President could have heard any of his words. He was on the opposite side of the Comcast arena. I was much closer to the shouter and could not make out a syllable.

2. This incident lasted for 1:50 seconds and not 38 seconds as Ms. Seifert's video suggests. Her video was intentionally edited to serve as a blueprint for her article.

3. Police removed this guy because people in his section were on the verge of hurting him. A young man in a blue shirt in the next section over was exhibiting very aggressive behavior towards him while people in his own section were screaming at him.

4. The keyword here is President Obama's words after seeing movement in the section. He said "What is going guys?" He had no idea what caused the disturbance.

So, in closing, please don't take this article for face value as the journalism portrays a fictitious scene. Go USA.

Also, you don't have to personally believe anything. You can think we were all created out of play doh, but when it comes your time to die and meet God face to face and he asks you why you didn't stand up for him, where will your liberal friends be then? So my question to you is, would you rather be on the side of this "heckler" or on the side of the obviously corrupt?(Bill Ayers, Van Jones, Acorn, etc)

Stuart Johns,
A little bit of class? Was it classy when a shoe was thrown at President Bush? Was it classy that they threw cups and bags at this poor man? And finally, is it classy to wrip a baby's brains out of their head and leave a woman lying there bleeding and in pain and call it choice and for that choice you will throw things at others and call them all sorts of nice names. Look it up in your Bible. God said: "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil." Is that not what you are doing? How about showing Him some class?

Has anyone considered that this young man is sincerely objecting to the use of his money to pay for what he believes is murder? Does he not have a right to object to becoming a murderer of babies?

Where is the freedom to object on the basis of his belief?

Do we have conscious objectors in our wars, but not in our civic life?

The way these people are treating this brave young man, reminds me of the way the crowd yelled to "crucify" Jesus. All this man wanted to do was stand up for the unborn, who don't have a voice. Think about it, how do you think God feels about unborn babies being murdered. Whether you are pro-life or not, abortion is still killing an unborn baby. Seen any ultrasound pictures lately. Man our world is one messed up place or at least that college is.

Joe Wilson is right obama is a LIAR, and for playing on the race card which he did do during the campaign he is a coward. Anyone who would follow this guy must have a head full of slush. Oh yeah hope I see you at the next BIGGER TEA party. If you still want to have the government run anything major that effects your life just send your money to me at least ill put it in a bank and you'll get interest, unlike the acting presidents idea of flushing it down the drain. George washington would say ***? Remember it took jimmy carter to get Ronald Regan, hopefully this change will follow history.

It took a lot of guts for that young man to stand up and speak his mind when his opinion was so obviously NOT of the ultra-liberal university mindset.

0bama waffles on nearly everything he says - understandably, since his only real conviction is to be politically popular. This is generally known as "lying".

What radical liberals don't get is that most Americans are center-right, especially when it comes to moral issues.

Spin it any way you want, but morally justifying the elimination of a viable fetus is virtually impossible - unless, of course, you view the murder of innocents as acceptable.

I know this guy. Heart of a tiger. He's got way more courage than our own President.

By the way, abortion is in the Baucus bill that Obama is touting. By not specifically mentioning it, and by not putting in enforcement provisions, it in effect WILL cover abortion in the government option or the co-op solutions.

More than half of the USA is now pro-life on the issue of government subsidized abortion.

Obama does not take it out because he is trying to score points with the Planned Parenthood crowd.

WOW! The race card wasn't played once here...so far!

But I do see references to "extemists, neocons, and religious fanatical republicans".

All of you Democrats, Liberals or Progressives (whatever you like) just play it the way you want. Exactly what has Obama and his administration done over the past nine months that makes you as proud as Michelle to be an American? I'm guessing you'll be hard pressed to come up with one example.

Harry Truman is remembered for the slogan, ?The Buck Stops Here?. President Obama?s slogan must be, ?Where Can I Pass the Buck Today??

During the presidential campaign, there were many promises. Those earning less than $250K were assured their taxes would not be increased ?by one dime.? We were promised ?open and transparent? government. Reform was on the way and no corrupt lobbyists would appear anywhere near the White House. There was a plan to unify the country. His health care plan was the best ever. There was another plan to right the economy. Troops would be withdrawn from Iraq. Many supported the great orator with a nice smile; no experience; friends like Bill Ayres, Van Jones and Reverend Wright; and a wife who first became proud of her country in 2008.

The American people were misled and I?m not sure how we express our differences of opinion. Whenever supporters of the administration are criticized because Obama is not living up to expectations there is no room for intellectual dialogue. The immediate response is either, 1) place blame on the previous administration, 2) play the race card or 3) you're a bunch of neocons. Readers of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette who enjoy Rob Rogers, Tony Norman, and Maureen Dowd certainly can relate.

Since Obama took office, the buck is not stopping anywhere. He keeps finding ways to pass it around and the media continues to make it way too easy for him to do so. Let?s stop coddling this administration, quit accepting excuses, and start demanding results.

Get on board people, let's criticize and ask for the same kind of accountability that we demanded from the previous administration.

He got in the news didn't he? If he saves even one baby's life from slaughter at the hands of his own mother it's worth it. If he makes any headway at all in the debate in voicing his opposition to taxpayer funded baby genocide, then it's worth it. Good job.

Yeah you really care about those babies...funny though, you never met a Republican-supported war you didn't like...Jesus wept.
