Could Palin Be on the Radio?

Although Sarah Palin resigned with "absolutely no plans" concerning her future, Inside Radio reports that the former Alaska governor may have set her sights on a radio show.

Sources say that Palin representatives have been testing syndicators' interest, although she hasn't made any commitments.

Allahpundit says on the conservative blog Hot Air that a Palin radio show could be successful.

"A live show, especially if she took calls, would be … mind-boggling, and riveting. I'd honestly pay to listen," Allahpundit says.

While Inside Radio calls Palin's potential move an "ironic twist" in reference to Palin's media battles, Kerry Gold of The Atlantic says that this move would be a "typical Palin operation."

"While it is difficult to imagine Palin succeeding across airwaves given that her speaking style--some call it incoherence--draws much criticism, a national radio show could serve as a potent platform for spreading her views and realizing her resignation-speech mission of effecting 'positive change outside government,'" Gold said.

Although Allahpundit is in favor of a Palin broadcast, they say, "The one downside of a live show: Lots of 'whinin ' about the media. Lots."

Rush makes what he does every day sound easy. It's not. Like him or not (I don't), he is really good at what he does. Palin has one and only one thing going for her: her looks. But you can't see her looks on the radio! All you have instead is that whiny, nasal voice saying "poor, poor me" in a thousand different ways. NOT riveting radio.

If she somehow does get a radio show, she will quit within a matter of weeks (or days) anyway so who cares?

Claiming that Pallin is an intellectual lightweight gives her too much credit. He statement "We hunt because we eat" implies that all food comes from killing wild animals. She has an agenda and it appeals to a very small group of extremists.

Since you know very little about life in Alaska, I'm going to tell you something about it. In Alaska it's too cold to grow crops most of the year. Six inches below ground they have what is called permafrost. That means that six inches below ground the soil is frozen year round. Therefore, very little vegetables are grown in Alaska. Most of what they have is shipped in. Also they don't raise much cattle in Alaska for the same reason, it's too cold. What beef they have is shipped in and extremely expensive. Also due to the extreme cold and icy conditions that they have much of the year, Alaskans can't always get to the supermarkets, especially if they live in the small towns and rural areas and not in the cities like Anchorage and Fairbanks. Hunting is a necessity in Alaska. Life is much different in Alaska than in the lower 48. Bluntly put, if you don't hunt in Alaska you don't eat! That is what Sarah meant by "We hunt because we eat"!

There is something else that I need to tell you. They don't have many roads in Alaska. The few that they have are icy and snow packed in winter. Many of the small villages don't even have roads. They are accessible only by small planes. Getting to a supermarket is impossible. The people in the small villages in Alaska would starve if they didn't hunt!

It depends upon what she will do with it. In her New York Times Op-Ed of July 29, 2009, Maureen Dowd stated that Serah Palin ?now sounds like a demagogue, embodying grievances and playing to people?s worst impulses.? That also is what the Republican Party has become?whining, demagogic, and dredging up primitive impulses as a preferred political strategy for rehgaining power. Within six months of Obama?s Presidency, it has become a Party of ?tea baggers,? ? birthers? and ?racialists.? It?s most outspoken henchmen?Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs, Gingrich, Dick and Liz Cheney, Tancredo, Kristol, Buchanan, Sessions are not interested in facts or truth. They simply don?t like the fact that a Blackman is President, though the people have spoken. They figure they score best by stirring up raw premordial negative emotions. Ironically known racists are now shouting racism, wildly, against others. They accuse Obama of being a racist, although the optics shows otherwise. Look at white dominance at Obama?s White House. They question Obama?s American origin, ignoring his birth registry in Hawaii. They imply he is unfit to be President no matter how hard and smart he works. They paint Obama as a reckless spender ignoring the fact that he is correcting the errors of the previous Republican administration. Then Dick Cheney said that ?deficit don?t matter.? Cheney and his daughter are re-fighting the war they lost under Bush some of whose policies Obama is up-holding. Buchanan volubly asserts the ?ineliable rights of white men,? ignoring the contributions of others in America?s nation-building.

I guess y'all know how many people it takes to kill a moose. Two. One to fly the plane and one to shoot the gun. I know, it's an old joke.

But no one can SEE her on radio. So what's the point?

It doesn't matter.

All you need to know is that she can see Russia, she reads ALL of the newspapers and magazines that are produced everyday, and she can field dress a moose.

She's GOP gold.

We can only hope she gets a media venue.

Ignorance such as hers really needs to be "showcased".

It'll be a riot!
