President Obama's Schedule Today
President Obama and Vice President Biden today will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. Mr. Obama will then meet with senior advisers. In the afternoon, the president and the vice president will meet for lunch in the Oval Office.
At 11:00 a.m., National Economic Council Director Larry Summers will deliver remarks at the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington, DC. Summers will provide a progress report on economic policy and Obama administration efforts to rescue and rebuild the U.S. economy. Here is more from the White House press office (all times Eastern):
