Day 84: Obama Talks Piracy, Administration Lifts Cuba Restrictions

He also signaled that the United States would take a tougher stand against piracy, stating that "we have to ensure that those who commit acts of piracy are held accountable for their crimes."
The other key development today involved a significant change in U.S. policy toward Cuba, though the president remained behind closed doors as press secretary Robert Gibbs made the announcement.
The White House said the U.S. will now allow family members to make unlimited visits to their relatives in Cuba and transfer money to them without restrictions. It is also easing other restrictions, such as limits on what can be sent to the country in packages.
The president also made an appearance at the traditional White House Easter Egg roll, where he was joined by his family. He said the event "reminds us that this is the people's house."
