President Obama will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day on this, his fifty-seventh day in office.

In the late morning, President Obama and Vice President Biden will meet with the Taoiseach of Ireland Brian Cowen in the Oval Office. Following the meeting, the president, the vice president and the Taoiseach will attend a Shamrock Ceremony in the White House.

Mr. Obama will also meet with Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson and Northern Ireland Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness.

In the afternoon, the president will travel to the Capitol to deliver remarks at Speaker Pelosi's St. Patrick's Day Lunch.

In the evening, the president will deliver remarks at St. Patrick's Day Receptions held in the East Room and the State Dining Room. The First Lady, Vice President Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, and Taoiseach Cowen will also attend.

Mr. Obama will also meet this morning with Senate Budget Committee Chairman Conrad and House Budget Committee Chairman Spratt to discuss the budget. He has a meeting with Secretary of Defense Gates in the Oval Office in the afternoon.

11:45AM: President Obama meets with Northern Ireland officials

12:15PM: President Obama departs The White House en route The Capitol

12:30PM: President Obama delivers remarks at Speaker Pelosi's St. Patrick's Day Lunch

2:10PM: President Obama receives Presidential Daily Briefing

4:30PM: President Obama meets with Secretary of Defense Gates

This president should be a popular figurehead like the Queen of England .. then we should hire somone with a brain to lead our country. Obama is good at affairs and speeches and should do this full time. maybe evenn a community organizer in Chicago to gret rid of HIM ..
