President Barack Obama signed several executive orders Friday reversing Bush-era policies that critics viewed as unfair for labor unions.

"I do not view the labor movement as part of the problem. To me it's part of the solution," Mr. Obama said. "We need to level the playing field for workers and the unions that represent their interests, because we know that you cannot have a strong middle class without a strong labor movement."

The new orders will limit federal contractors' abilities to restrict or discourage labor unions and require them to offer jobs to current workers when contracts change.

See below for the full text of the orders:

Notification of Employee Rights Under Federal Labor Laws
Economy in Government Contracting
Nondisplacement of Qualified Workers Under Service Contracts

Do not let hatred for Bush blind your common sense. Read the non replacement of Qualified Workers Notice. This is crazy. The federal government will find it virtually impossible to change companies that are too expensive or do not provide adequate services as they must now keep the same employees not providing the adequate services. This is nothing than tribute paid to labor unions by Obama. Sometimes it makes sense to actually know what you are criticizing before doing so.

Naw, it will take much longer than a year--Obama wants things done legally--remember, Bush wiped every ounce of intelligence he had with the Constitution!

He could spend a lifetime undoing the damage that Bush did to our country and still not get it done.
