Professor Jill Biden

Jill Biden, the wife of Vice President Joseph Biden and a doctor of education, is taking her new hometown by the horns: She announced today that she will return to teaching, her career of 28 years, and will work as an adjunct professor at Northern Viginia Community College.

Mrs. Biden, a major education advocate, will take on two English courses.

"I am thrilled to return to the classroom to continue working with community college students, whom I greatly admire and enjoy teaching," said Dr. Biden, according to a White House press release. "I have always believed in the power of community colleges to endow students with critical life skills, and I am pleased that I can make a difference by doing what I love to do, teaching people who are excited to learn."

by John_Merritt December 13, 2009 4:04 PM EST: I like that 'J-squared'. You can tell they are the perfect couple because they compliment each other so well. She is measured in her speaking and Joe is like me, his brain works faster than his mouth can accomodate at times.

Even though Joe and Jill are very 'nice' neither one of them can be considered as 'blah'. Apparently one of the classes Jill took in her life was taught to be nice meant you are sedentary in thoughts and expression. Albeit for me to argue against a Doctorate of anything, I would somehow agree that her 'niceness' is what Joe and his kids were attracted to in the first place.

Every man should be so lucky to have strong and capable women in their lives like Jill and Michelle Obama. If that were the case, we might be better behaved and would be smarter as a rules of thumb. God Bless you all and have a Happy Holidays.; Reply to this comment

Teach hypocrisy! Your husband has been part of the problem in Washington for years and became vice president.
