Book Or TV Deal For Palin?

(AP)
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that former GOP vice presidential candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has "apparently" retained Robert Barnett, a well-known D.C.-based attorney who brokered book deals for President Obama and Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Barnett also helped put together television deals for Brian Williams, Lesley Stahl, Neil Cavuto, Christiane Amanpour, Dr. Sanjay Gupta and others.

Barnett declined to comment on the story.

Palin, John McCain's polarizing running mate, is seen as one of the leading contenders for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012. She would likely garner a significant advance for a book on her life and rise to national prominence.

Television producers would also be interested in retaining Palin, a former sports reporter who would likely have an easy time transitioning to a television role.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who became nationally known during his run for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, began hosting a show on Fox News in September.

I can''t belive that this Lady would be offered anything like a book deal and/or hosting a televsion show. It goes to show what not being qualified to run for an elected office will get you.

I can only hope she will be the top contender for the GOP presidential nomination in 4 years. That will insure Barrack Obama will win reelection. Bottom line, it does not take much to be considered famous in America.

I want Sarah to run in 2016. Obama is a shoe-in for 2012, so we can have the Repubs throw her out there in 2016 for ANOTHER landslide victory for the Dems!

she should do a "spread" in Penthouse if she wants to be published. Then she could identify a magazine when asked what she reads.

You hateful Anti-Palin people really need to get laid.

Such vile commentary and most of it has to really do with the fact that she is a woman......

I don''t see anyone questioning Blago''s manhood, even though he has proven to be a lot more stupid than Palin.....

Sarah has turned out to be the bread winner in her family. So, she is looking down the road to support the family. That is why she wants to stay in the limelight.

I don''t see Sarah as an intelligent person. A ghost writer could make her rich like the Clintons. Fox news praises her all the time maybe, they will put her on.

I told you that she would end up selling out to some TV show or book deal.

That''s the kind of person she is.

Never in a million years would I read anything she "wrote", nor would I watch anything she does. Likely Faux News would be happy to fawn over her, Greta certainly would, and Huckabee? Nice guy but who cares? And here we are, milions of intelligent and hardworking stiffs not able to pay all of our bills, yet this blip on the radar gets the big payout? Only in America.
