Kerry: Kennedy In "Good Shape"

(AP Photo/Ron Edmonds)
WASHINGTON - Sen. John Kerry spoke to reporters after visiting Sen. Ted Kennedy briefly at the Washington Hospital Center in the nation's capitol.

Kerry said the senior senator from Massachusetts is in "good shape" and had a "mild seizure," something he's undergone before and "goes with the territory" of having his form of cancer. He said Kennedy "joked a little bit about what happened" and is grateful for the telephone calls he's received.

Kerry said Kennedy is expected to stay the night at the hospital. He didn't think Barack Obama had spoken to Sen. Kennedy yet.

Exactly how was it again that the Kennedy Mafia was able to prevent an autopsy from being done when Mary Jo Kopechne was left to drown alone? Wasn''t it state law in Massachussetts that autopsies were required in ALL cases of unattended death, as it is in most, if not all, other states? That''s not something that a victim''s family, sheriff, police chief, or medical examiner could legally have waived, even if they WERE paid off! Because there was no autopsy, no one could PROVE whether she was pregnant with Teddy''s child (as was rumored), and if so, whether she might have been slipped a mickey before the car went into the water, which would have been a convenient way to be rid of her AND the baby. It may not have been an accident at all! Was Teddy aware that she couldn''t swim? Was there any evidence of a blow to the head? No, just a poor girl who was left to drown alone, a driver that ran away, some powerful lawyers and politicians, and a suspended sentence for leaving the scene of an accident. Anybody that was paid off to prevent an autopsy, and whoever PAID them off should go to jail for a LONG time!
