Condoleezza Rice to Cain: Don't play the race card

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Herman Cain should not be playing the race card in an interview aired after the former pizza executive said he is being attacked by liberals for his race but not by conservatives.

"I actually am someone who-- doesn't believe in playing the race card on either side. I've seen it played, by the way, on the other side quite a lot too. And it's not good for the country," Rice told CBS' Norah O'Donnell in an interview that aired on CBS' "The Early Show" on Wednesday.

Asked on Tuesday if race had anything to do with the allegation of sexual harassment more than a decade ago, Cain told Fox News analyst Charles Krauthammer "I believe the answer is yes, but we do not have any evidence to support it."

The former head of the National Restaurant Association also said there are those on both sides of the aisle who do not want to see him win because he is not a traditional candidate.

"Relative to the left I believe race is a bigger driving factor. I don't think it's a driving factor on the right. This is just based upon our speculation," Cain told Krauthammer.

Rice made her comments Tuesday in the taped interview with CBS before Cain's latest comments to Krauthammer on Fox, but Cain has suggested race may be a factor for attacks on him before the latest Fox interview that aired Tuesday night.

Condomleeza, shut your piehole! You were a failure as NSA Chief and were nothing but the Bush admin Sexretary of State (Canadian PM and Qhaddafi among others). You shouldn't be offering advice to anyone. You should dedicate the rest of your life praying for the souls of many fine Americans and innocent civilians you helped Bush lead to their deaths. Do you have a conscience? No, because you're a witch. So go snap your fingers and disappear in your magic mushroom cloud!

stn_sage, you might want to check your facts:
(AP) The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program - a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.

The removal of 550 metric tons of "yellowcake" - the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment - was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam's nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions.

This story was about the removal of natural uranium ore that was removed from a defunct reactor near baghdad this material is widely available on world markets and posed no threat, that is zero threat as material for a weapon, not even a dirty bomb. the Nazis were four steps closer to producing a dirty bomb. The reason that the Bushies did not jump up and down screaming that they found the smoking gun is because this stuff is about on a par with a rock as far as weapons go. The key to the story is that they were not making WmDs. The information was available to the Bushies but it did not fit with their agenda so they ignored it and exposed the people as agents that tried to give them good information before the war. There is no statute of limitations on treason.

"Cain, for his part, said Tuesday he isn't sure whether he'll ask the NRA to release a woman (from telling her side of story and the terms of the agreement or settlement concerning Cain's inappropriate behavior)."
This tells us all about GOP candidate Herman Cain that we should know. He can try to hide behind the race card, but that won't help him. There is plenty of time for voters to wake up and support someone else. Thank you.

I am a person of mixed races and I can tell you that Mr. Cain is playing the race card and it is disgusting. I do not support Mr. Cain because his agenda will not improve this country. Mr. Cain has proven on more than one occasion that his policies are for the betterment of a few. Mr. Cain has dismissed the concerns of people because they don't agree him. If you can be so dismissive the you are not qualified for the Oval Office.

I would agree, except this nagging remind keeps resurfacing. Mr. Cain has 10 time the "Executive" experience that Obama has, and make no mistake.. They used the "race card" for Obama from his race against Clinton to McCain. They touted it like a flag...

So just stick to the fact that you don't agree with his opinions and policies. Even though he knows how a real company works...

Keep in mind, President is an Executive, not a Legislative position... something Obama keeps forgetting himself.
