Bachmann agrees with "impeach" Obama wish

NEWTON, Iowa -- With a well-established track record for raising eyebrows on the stump, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota on Wednesday agreed with a man who expressed a desire to get Obama "out of the way."

After visiting a coffee shop in this small Iowa town, Bachmann was asked by a man in the crowd, "When will we impeach him and get him out of the way? We should be" The candidate replied, "Well, I'll tell you, I'll tell you, I agree, I agree. Some people are really upset." Then she moved on to the next well-wisher.

After the incident, campaign spokesperson Alice Stewart told CBS News: "She was not saying that she agrees that Obama should be impeached. She agreed with the man on what they were talking about before- that people are frustrated."

The incident came after she gave her standard stump speech at Uncle Nancy's coffee shop, a popular stop for presidential candidates courting voters in the first-in-the-nation caucus state. About 60 people turned out to hear Bachmann.

Her crowds have diminished along with her political fortunes in recent weeks. Texas Gov. Rick Perry may get the prize for worst debater in the Republican field, but Bachmann is on track to win most gaffe-prone. Last month, after a candidate debate, she claimed that a popular vaccine for girls to prevent cervical cancer could cause mental retardation, an assertion that was immediately debunked by medical experts.

Other recent Bachmann-isms include her claim that Obama's policies caused the popular rebellions and political upheaval sweeping the Arab world, an assertion that president should bar Iran's leader from the United Nations in violation of international treaties and her dismissal of a question about school bullying as "not a federal issue." Other problems for Bachmann have included the departures of Ed Rollins, her top political adviser, and Ed Goeas, her pollster.

The U.S. Constitution provides for a president to be impeached and removed from office for treason, bribery and other "high crimes and misdemeanor." Only two American presidents have been impeached in history; the last was President Bill Clinton.

The game is actually pretty easy to call at this point. Romney will get the establishment money and support then take the nomination. Could select Cain or Perry as VP, depends on which on is still standing. The GOP base will never accept him due to Romneycare, Mormonism and is perceived moderation. The Base may swallow hard and elect him or stay at home as they did with McCain so they can whine the following 4 years. Romney is the only candidate that could be attractive to independents.

Apparently this woman has no concept of "appropriate". She needs to stop talking and hire a voice double to lipsync appropriate responses.

Obama should be impeached and removed from office for violating his oath of office. He swore to protect and uphold the U.S. Constitution.

Here are the high crimes I see:

Assassinated 2 American citizens (Anwar and Samir) without due process or a trial of any kind, which their rights to are protected by the 5th Amendment of the Constitution. Never before in American history has a President publicly admitted to assassinating citizens under any circumstance. This alone warrants impeachment.

Allowed 2,000 weapons to reach Mexican Drug Cartels, including .50 Caliber sniper rifles. These weapons have been used to kill Americans.

Entered into a war with Libya without Congressional approval or oversight. So far this "easy war" has cost us $1.6 Billion. What would you be saying if it was revealed Obama had put $1.6 Billion in his own pocket? What's the difference between wasting and stealing? The money is still gone.

This Republican entirely disagrees w/you.

1. We are at war with those who attacked us on 9/11, and that included Anwar and Samir, ex post facto.

2. The President probably knew nothing about the weapons sting, and, if he did, does not qualify for impeachment.

3. The US is not at war with Libya, and this argument is old, frayed, and disobeyed by almost every American president. Who is going to enforce that law?

Okay Smittyc, tell us why the President should be impeached when Bush II, who started two wars, let 9/11 happen and didn't kill Osama gets a pass? Use facts and not World Nut Daily.

Well here in the south, we all know that when "Texas" speaks, people listen. Why, because when the south secedes from the union because of all the entitlements you all need, but can't pay for, causes the union to go broke and we all shed your dead weight, Dallas will be our new capital.

Let's see if I got this straight. We are ten years into two wars started by a Texan who did not bother to pay for it. We have tried to come out of a recession that hit in 2007 and really hit hard in 2008 while a Texan was driving the bus. And you want to leave the union because of entitlements. Don't let the door hit you in the backside on your way out. It will keep Texan politicians out of the White House. Fair trade.

Recession hit hard at the end of the Texan's term. 3 years later the recession is now a depression and the foreigner in the office has done nothing to try and make it better. At least with the Texas, as you call him, in June of every year we received another tax check for the children. Do you remember that?
