Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., will be the first member of the U.S. Congress to testify before a British Parliamentary hearing this week when he talks to London about Muslim radicalization, his office said today.

King, who chairs the House Homeland Security Committee, held a series of controversial hearings earlier this year about radicalization within the Muslim-American community. Similar to King, the UK House of Commons Select Committee on Home Affairs has launched an investigation entitled "Roots of Violent Radicalisation" and has asked King to be their first witness.

"I am honored to have been invited by Chairman [Keith] Vaz to testify before the House of Commons Home Affairs Committee," King said in a statement. "As our vital ally, the United Kingdom, struggles with this same threat within its own borders."

According to the U.S. Congressional Research Service and House of Commons researchers, King will be the first member of Congress to testify before a Parliamentary hearing in the United Kingdom.

"While I have consistently stated the overwhelming majority of Muslim-Americans are outstanding people, the reality is that radicalization within the Muslim-American community by al-Qaeda and its affiliates is a real threat to the security of our homeland," King said.

My, my you lefties are in a lather about this. "Psycho', 'racist', 'disgrace to America'; now that's the way the left gets things done. It's also why you're going to have your second shellacking at the polls next November. Good luck with all that hate: you're going to need it.

Remember Pearl Harbor? This country sent Japanese-americans to concentration camps even though there was absolutely no proof that Japanese-Americans were disloyal.

Now Peter King is starting the same nonsense all over again - this time targeting Muslims.

Peter King is a disgrace to America. He has no business in Congress. Hatred and religious bigotry are anti-American.

Finally, someone has the stones to talk about Muslim Radicalization.

England and the United States; in an effort to be politically correct (two words that should never be uttered together) are finally waking up to the fact that this is nothing but an attempt to introduce Muslim tenets into our populations.

Many concessions have been made to the Muslim populations in both countries under this guise of political correctness.

They were all brought about quietly because the Muslims were "offended" by our traditions and even the greetings we use on our holdiays and anything referring to GOD or the Ten Commandments.

If these people were not aware of the way the people of the US have been living our lives; our way; when they came to the US; they soon found out.

I'm fed up with these people "requesting" concessions because they are offended by the customs and practices here in the US.

If they are so offended, let them go back where they came from, and they won't ever see anything "offensive" again.

I and a lot of other Americans are "offended" by these concessions, and it's high time politicians started thinking about what offends us.

yeah - there is probably some radicalization going on - however, King's replicating the Anti-American activities commission to 'weed out that evil' is nothing more than extremist stupidity at it's worst.

And to have him and his extremist idiocies represent us to another country makes me want to vomit.

at least it's not an Obama "apology" tour, my bet is he won't bow to any Muslim princes either.
