A new online video game company has come up with a controversial new twist on the traditional zombie-killing gaming concept: The zombies targeted for kill are prominent figures in the Tea Party movement.

The game, "Tea Party Zombies Must Die," features a handful of Tea Party members - including Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, and a blood-spattered, bra-clad Michele Bachmann - who the gamer is instructed to kill with either a "melee weapon" (in the first level, at least, it's a crowbar) or a gun.

Other featured Tea Party targets include: "Generic pissed off old white guy zombie," "Pissed off stupid white trash redneck birther zombie," "Factory made blonde Fox News Barbie who has never had a problem in her life zombie," and "Glenn Beck Zombie (Back from the dead!)."

Upon the player's death, one is told, "You got Teabagged! P.S. You didn't have health insurance, so you died. P.P.S. There's no such thing as God, so you died for eternity."

The makers of the game, StarvingEyes: Viral Advergaming, have worked with clients like Hotels.com, MeowMix, TLC, and Motorola, according to their website.

But Jason Oda, the head of StarvingEyes, tells MRCTV he's not worried about the possible implications of "Tea Party Zombies Must Die" on his business: "The game was just a personal project. I am not worried about it effecting business," he said.

Since this is a video game, you can also be sure that most of those who will play it will be teenagers and young people. People who will no doubt get the wrong idea about this and may try to go out and actually try to kill Tea Party and other members. This needs to serve as a wake up call to all of America that left wingers are dangerous, deranged people. This also needs to prove to America that Obama needs to be defeated next year.

@bjoh....this is no comparison to the real life actions of radical teabagger rightwingnuts. At least this is a "game" ... look at all the real-life violent metaphors and trash-talk by Palin and other teabag darlings. Many tea partiers even praised and defended her use of the the gun crosshairs on Gabby Giffords after she was shot and so many were killed. Even though Palin wasn't directly responsible for the shootings, she never did admit that it was very poor judgement to use the metaphor. I suppose you don't see anything wrong with what she did? There are deranged people everywhere....party affiliation has nothing to do with it. And what on earth does President Obama have to do with a video game???? Are you also blaming him for the wildfires in Texas, or the hurricanes in the East? You are pathetically delusional.

The left is just plain insane, they are dangerous radicals that need to be stopped from destroying this country. Yes, some in the Tea Party are bad, but that is nothing compared to those on the left.

Speaking of zombies, look at the Obama supporters.

You need your head examined if you cannot see the danger in the ideology of radical rightwingnuts.

Thank you, lookyloo. Well said. I feel exactly the same and I believe you represent the average tea party supporter. Not violent, not racist, not a right wing kook, just a concerned citizen who cares for his (or her) country.

Sort of like the concerned citizens and average tea party supporters who applauded and supported Sarah Palin when she placed gun crosshairs on Gabby Giffords? The difference was, it was REAL life and not a game....someone almost died.

A follow-up to my comment above....yes, Giffords almost died...and many DID die.

On a lighter note:

Someone recently said that liberals aren't wrong... we're just boring. Stop it.

While the inappropriate video game violence can be left on the cutting room floor, the tea party death cult zombie mentality is aptly represented if I do say so myself. Why not use it creatively, rather than destructively, to spread the message that the tea party zombies are detrimental to our well-being?

Halloween is just around the corner and 'tea party zombie' would make a great costume. In fact, we made just such a costume last year and my hubby won the door prize for best costume (from a gathering of Republicans no less). Wish I could post a photo here - it was hysterical. I dressed up as witchy Sarah Palin and lead hubby around by the leash around his neck... but I like zombie Sarah Palin much better.

Spread the word... "Halloween 2011: Return of the Living Dead (Tea Party Zombies) - "Do you wanna partay?!?" Twitter, tweet, chirp and bleat...

Press every evil act into service of the common good.

This is racist.. What if the game company used a black man, or an east indian or any other race. I bet you would be hearing from the NAACP or some other group..

Since when is the Tea Party a "race" ? I thought they had proof that there was at least one black teabagger...

It's much safer to play this game than Sarah Palin's pin-the-bullseye-on-someones-head-on-the-map game.

For those of you complaining about where is the Obama games you just haven't looked hard enough. They've been out since the first hour he took the oath of office.

This is the same kind of idiocy that the Tea Party espouses (hitler Obama pictures, "take aim and reload", etc.). I would like to see the Tea Party fizzle into its inevitable irrelevance as much as anyone but I don't want to see them shot - even in a videogame. That's what sets me apart from a lot of Tea Partiers who would probably not show me the same respect as a fellow American.

um, Hitler Bush pictures were all the rage before Obama was even elected to state office in Illinois. Also, the Dems made a bullseye covered map a few years before Palin's that no one cared about. It is so irritating when people only remember the news that supports their own position. Your comment about how a lot of Tea Partiers would probably behave tells me you don't know many personally. I am a tea partier that abhors violence and treats all people with the utmost respect. My religious convictions require me to put others above myself no matter who they are. The tea partiers I know identify as suchy for the same reason I do; I don't want to be asked to pay for more government pork. I want them to do what the rest of us are doing -- cut back on what isn't important and reign in spending before simply adding more income. By reign in spending I don't mean cut medicare and education. I mean quit buying new black SUVs, chartering private plane rides, quit giving pensions to legislators (who else in America gets a full pension after 6 years with a company?). For most tea partiers, that is all that it is about despite what they want you to believe on tv. Seriously. Americans need to stop watching the news and start talking to their neighbors. Tea Partiers are just people who live on your street and don't want to pay more in taxes until they can see that responsible spending is done. I think a bunch of stay-at-home moms who've been living on one income and a group of high school economics teachers could do a better job of cutting what really doesn't matter. It's what we do.

Have any of you who are supporting this game looked at it. They are not just killing these people. They are objectifying them. Bachman is stripped to the waist. She is wearing only a bra. Is it still funny? THESE PEOPLE HAVE CHILDREN. I DO NOT support the tea party, but this is WRONG. Where is the outcry?
Well, I hope the guy who created it is ready for a crap load of lawsuits. I am not even talking about the fact he used likeness and names. I am talking about the people whose teenager will try or succeed in doing exactly what this game promotes. "the video game made me do it."
I just have one questions for all you avid supporters of this game. What if that was your mother on that game?

If my mother was Michelle Bachmann, I'd have to support it. She is a vile human being.

Look, I don't see what all the fuss is about. If you are a tea partier, you're fine. But if you are a tea party ZOMBIE, well then, you have something to worry about.

Do this before bed tonight, if you're worried:

- check your pulse. Having one is a good sign. No pulse, not so much.
- Ask yourself if you crave human flesh, particularly brains. Brains are really the red flag, here.
- Are any body parts falling off? And I don't mean dentures or hair pieces.
- do you listen to Rush Limbaugh?

If you answered yes to any of the above, well, I'm sorry, but you're a tea party zombie. And you must, well, you get the picture.

But only in the video game, of course. In real life, you'll still be perfectly healthy and wrecking the country.

LOL, what "high" are you speaking of? Are you one with a thirst for brains? Do you have a pulse? If so, and you are not Dick Cheney, you must be a zombie.

The name is so funny I can't stop laughing. God, I hope this thing goes viral. LOL.
