Sarah Palin to appear at Labor Day Tea Party rally in New Hampshire

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin will join the Tea Party Express at a New Hampshire rally on Monday, the group announced this week, keeping up the former governor's tour of early primary states and adding fuel to speculation about her political future.

Palin will appear at a Labor Day rally in Manchester. She is already slated to appear in Iowa -- another early presidential nominating state -- on Saturday. Tea Party Express Chair Amy Kremer called Palin "an electrifying figure" and "a hero to the tea party movement."

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney is also expected to attend the Manchester rally before heading to a presidential candidates' forum in South Carolina, hosted by Sen. Jim DeMint.

It's an open question as to whether Palin will jump into the GOP presidential race, or when she would make such an announcement. Her trips to states like Iowa and New Hampshire suggest she's still considering it. Palin stole some of the limelight from the current GOP candidates by making an appearance an Iowa the same week as the influential Ames Straw Poll.

Could a Palin presidential bid rewrite the campaign rulebook?

I can not understand any real labor group inviting an anti labor leader to anything but a tar and feather party.
This must be a make belief labor group so the gold digger can drum up some more cash so her PAC can afford to buy more of her ghost written books that are no longer sold but rather given away to contributors so the money winds up where? Yeah caribu barbi's pockets.
We all know how badly tea bag leaders despise labor and anyone that punches a time clock for that matter, at least the majority of American know what tea baggers will not admit, they do the bidding of the ultra wealthy and enable those uber wealthy to continue to pay half the tax rate of a "worker"!
A vote for a tea bagger is a vote to continue anti American worker rights and extra taxes to fund lack of taxes the wealthy do NOT pay...

The single largest reason Alaska is enjoying an even healthier surplus is ACES which, simply put, is a higher level and progressive corporate tax on oil companies in Alaska. The unprecedented price of oil is making money for Alaska.
Higher level and progressive corporate taxation.

When Palin Took office the Alaska budget was $8bn (with a $2bn surplus). The last budget she requested a mere two years later was $12bn. No wonder Alaska's state budget's in in positive equity.

LOL, Founders, you are so off the mark, it is hard to see you. Palin left Wasilla in loads debt. She left Alaska in loads debt. She runs on a platform of free-market capitalism, limited government, and pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps slogans, yet the number 1 employer in Alaska is... you guessed it, the GOVERNMENT! Her state lives on government subsidies! How is it that a politician can be so anti-government while cashing government checks each month for herself and her state? She and her tea party goons are fakes and phonies, and people see right through the disguise. It is so obvious, you'd have to be stupid not to see it, son.

Flounder: How do Alaskan citizens "own" the oil in alaska? If it's on Federal land, then it is owned by ALL the citizens of the US, not just the ones residing in Alaska. Why do they get oil tax checks and not the rest of the US citizens. Last time I checked no one else gets oil checks from oil wells on public land in other states. Seems pretty selfish and unfair to the rest of the citizens of this country.

Well a big ye ha for Sara! I think I've got this tea party thing figured out, at least in a symbolic way. America never really shed an undertone of Confederate sentiment. So, these tea partiers unconsciously want to return America to its southern agrarian roots. Wealth would be concentrated in the hands of a few, making corporate big wigs like 21st century plantation owners. Rick Perry's bashing of Social Security is a quick example of this trend. Attacking health care reform is another example. (The early American solution: pass on in your fifties or die of some disease in childhood.)

It's a win/win situation for the tea party. If they take the White House, it's back to the 19th century for America. If they lose, well, time to raise the stars 'n bars and secede!

There are no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine plus, the head and the ass are interchangeable."
