Is Palin preparing for a 2012 run?
Earlier this week, Real Clear Politics' Scott Conroy broke news that Former GOP Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin is heading back to Iowa in September, sparking speculation that she is planning a 2012 presidential run. CBS News senior political producer Rob Hendin sat down with Conroy to discuss the chances of a 2012 Palin presidential campaign.
"A campaign is at least still possible, if not likely," said Conroy.
Though Palin has been off the radar recently, Conroy warns not to discount her yet.
"I'm told that she's basically been immersing herself in policy and studying up," he said of her absence.
As for husband Todd Palin, Conroy notes that he "seemed very gung-ho" about the idea of a 2012 presidential run.

.
Many under estimated her when she was mayor and when she was governor and they lived to regret it.
-----------------
Oooohhhhh, she won the Wasilla election with 503 votes (Not even enough to get elected student council president in most high schools) and Alaska governor's election with 114,000 (not enough to get elected mayor in mid-size cities.) And I'm sure many did live to regret it - they regretted voting for someone who quit to pursue more monetarily lucrative ventures.
No matter what you say to denigrate Sarah Palin's successes there will always be this nagging reality that she was in fact elected many times to many offices at all level of State government.
She is pretty impressive in what she has done, despite her looks.
Al Franken won with 312 MORE votes (which is not stealing, it is the way we do counting in the real world!).
Palin won with a total of 503 votes in Wasilla.
Spin anything and all you get is...dizzy.
Oh please, let it be so. Signed -- all Democrats and most Independents.

Wait a minute....are her hands big enough to hold all those written "notes" of the correct answers.......like her favorite Supreme Court decisions....or a list of books and newspapers she can say she reads. What a whackadoodle.
Palin and her Palinistas, when they can't find anything else to criticize, love to point out that President Obama uses a teleprompter...just like ALL his predecessors since its invention....and just like ALL future presidents will. Why is he held to a different standard? No need to answer that question...I think we know why.
