Sarah Palin film "The Undefeated" to be released on July 15

It was announced Friday that the upcoming pro-Sarah Palin documentary "The Undefeated" will be released in AMC theatres on July 15 "in markets such as Dallas, Denver, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Atlanta, Orange County, Phoenix, Houston, Indianapolis, and Kansas City." It will premiere first in the first-in-the-nation voting state of Iowa.

Notable absent from this list of markets, of course, are Los Angeles and New York, as well as any city's in Alaska. The public is being asked to vote on three more cities where the film could be released.

In a clip from the documentary, the former governor and potential Republican presidential candidate is portrayed as having functioned as the powerful CEO of her state while in office.

CBS News poll: Most GOP voters don't want Palin to run

"The governor in the state of Alaska is a CEO for the state," a man says in the clip, music swelling, as Palin is shown presiding over a meeting. He goes on to say that the state's founders "decided that we needed a CEO. One person that would be responsible."

A women then says "all decisions must go through this CEO." She adds later that Palin "was the CEO of 25,000 employees."

Later, the male talking head describes Palin, who resigned midway through her term, as "one of the most powerful" governors in the United States.

"And she wasn't afraid to use those powers," he says.

CBS News political correspondent Jan Crawford, who has seen the full documentary, describes it as "an unabashed defense of the former Alaska governor that leaves the distinct impression her presidential candidacy not only is possible, but inevitable."

Meanwhile, Palin's time as governor will come under the spotlight in a different way this afternoon when more than 24,000 pages of emails from her office will be released by the state of Alaska.

Well, once again we're being subjected to Republican deceit as the name of the film "The Undefeated" is simply a lie as Palin was defeated in her run for the office of Vice-President in 2008. Thus, a more accurate and honest title for the film would be "the defeated." This is typical Republican behavior whenever the truth gets in the way of their goals such as the goal for this film, which is to rehabilitate Palin. Mama Cow, or whatever Palin is currently calling herself, should do us all a favor and recede into history as the failure and liar she is in reality.

USA_is_back You don't have a savings and you can't make investments when you live on an income of $800.00 a month! I've never had a 401k in my life!

--------------------

JV you are living proof that "trickle down" doesn't work. After years of Republican economic policies you're subsisting on $800.00 a month!!! Obviously none of the promised benefits from Bush tax cuts EVER reached you, yet you still support the Republicans and their agenda. That support just blows me away.

I haven't seen any improvement under the Obama administration either! However, I'm a pro-life, ulta-conservative Christian so therefore I support the Republicans for other reasons. Reasons that are even more important to me than financial.

JV Now I understand why you fantasize over Sarah, it's an escape from reality. Good luck there.

What is this FETISH CBS has with Palin. All Palin all the time 24/7. It is like they are hooked on her. I mean they report nothing of the news that makes Obama look like the total failure he is that actually affects our lives but go out of their way to find some story no one cares about about Sarah Palin! IS CBS addicted?

JV1970 replies:

No, it's not because they're addicted to her. It's because for the last three years they've been trying their best to bring about her downfall. They hate her and they're publishing everything they can about her to discredit her.

It is about the ratings. CBS knows the right wing sheep will read and post that she is picked on and the rest of us read it for the comedy it offers. The left points out the facts and the right takes the bait and claims unfair.

JV1970.....you DO realize that this movie is nothing but propaganda and fluff, and will ONLY present Palin how she WANTS to be presented, right?? It will definitely not tell the TRUTH about her....she wouldn't allow that.

Hi San: That's been explained to JV before, but she still believes that Sarah is a goddess. Enjoy.

More than Hangover? Most likely it'll be a real flop and end up on DVD in a couple of weeks after release. That should help you JV, then you can get your VERY OWN copy and watch it nightly. My daughter used to watch the Little Mermaid daily when she was about 3, but eventually outgrew that phase. You'll never outgrow Sarah, sad.

In your second paragraph: "... any city's in Alaska" you are using the possessive instead of the plural: cities.
