Palin confident she could beat Obama

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was met by a gaggle of reporters outside of Philadelphia's Independence Hall Tuesday, on day three of her "One Nation" bus tour.

The question du jour: Will she or won't she run for president?

The would-be-candidate once again refused to "put a timetable" on when she will announce her decision, but when asked by CBS affiliate WKYW if she could beat President Obama, Palin replied, "To put it concisely - yes."

Palin also noted her belief that most of the Republicans in the field "have a very good chance" of beating the president, and specifically said she liked Texas Governor Rick Perry, who told reporters last week he was contemplating his own bid to unseat Obama.

"This isn't all about me; it's about the real change that our country needs, and not just me but other potential candidates and candidates declared," she said.

Reporters who have been following the bus tour have been given little guidance by Palin's team, and have accused Palin of being coy with the press.

Not so, Palin said, before visiting the Liberty Bell behind closed doors.

"It's not really an intention to play cat-and-mouse or to have you guys guessing or anything else. Really it's a genuine concern for our country, making sure we're highlighting the history of our country, learning our past so we see a straight way forward in these challenging times, and that's what our tour is all about," she explained.

Palin is expected to travel to New York City later today, where she is expected to meet with reality television host Donald Trump.

jeez. Philly's my home town. Would have made me proud if they had protected their borders and kept her out, or at least deported her to texas.

If she's such a quitter why has she stood every personal attack and insult known to man in the last three years? She could have just given up and gone back to Alaska to stay but she's still out there and still in your face! If she's such a quitter why is that?

The lowlife trailer trash probably mean she could "beat" Obama but not in any kind of political manner.

Now that Palin and Trump had dinner (AKA dinner for schmucks, dumb and dumber, media wh0re summit) she has a plan. Continue to lead on the slobbering pack (AKA the media) for as long as possible and try to stay relevant while acting empty (not sure that's an act) to insure she continues to get her 75k speakers fees from any sucker groups willing to hear this political neophyte. I really miss the days when my GOP actually had serious candidates instead of clowns and carnival barkers.

Seems like a simple question any decisive person could answer.

"The would-be-candidate once again refused to "put a timetable" on when she will announce her decision"

* Ditherer....

'when asked by CBS affiliate WKYW if she could beat President Obama, Palin replied, "To put it concisely - yes."'

* Arrogant ditherer....

* Arrogant ditherer with a dash of gibberish....

Might be a fun race... unstoppable ditherer meets inveterate screw-up. The prize? The gullibility of the American people.

I guess that's why the USA is number 14 on the list of "most happy" countries and Canada is number 2, right behind Denmark (another socialist commie country).

Socialism is not for the rich anymore. It is time we realized that the idiot airheads like Palin think social security, medicare, food stamps and the rest of the safety net like police and firefighters are SOCIALIST.

Well, it is time we embraced the systems like they have in real counties like Canada. Time to take over the greedy, rotten, lying, cheating, stealing banks and oil corporations. It is time they worked for US.

JV1970 -

25% of the population is NOT a winning percentage in a general election. Never has been, never will be.

It does, however, confirm the poll that Palin appeals to the less educated (hence the math short comings)...

Of course Palin can beat Obama,

my cat could beat Obama from her litter box.

Obama is a failure.

The question is who is going to win the GOP nomination.

This next election will boil down to if we want to save America or become a socialist nation like the failed USSR.

-

Lol. Well Canada is a "socialist nation" according to a lot of American conservatives and our economy's doing GREAT right now.

Go look up the value of the Canadian dollar and our GDP compared to the US.

But hey, I go get my gas and groceries in the States on the weekends. It's a lot cheaper there thanks to our higher dollar and I feel like I should support our cousins to the South considering how bad their economy is.
