Seth Meyers amuses at White House Correspondents' dinner

The White House Correspondents' dinner highlight is always the comedian chosen to rip into the Washington political and media elite. "Saturday Night Live" Weekend Update host Seth Meyers did not disappoint, giving President Obama some good ribbing, as well as other attendees, including the controversial Donald Trump.

Meyers told Mr. Obama, "When you were sworn in, you looked like the guy from the Old Spice commercials. Now you look like Louis Gosset Sr. I've never said this to anyone, but maybe you should start smoking again."

Trump was an easy target for Meyers: "Donald Trump has been saying he would run for president as a Republican, which is surprising since I just assumed he was running as a joke. "

Trump is the poster boy for the small minority of the 330m Americans in the US. I don't think that minority is necessarily stupid...but they really come off as ignorant, knee-jerk and impulsive. If any of these people took a few hours(not minutes) to read up on issues, make comparisons and think sensibly about what character means, they'd ignore this clown, his family and his entourage.

What a contrast with that scumbag Trump sitting their grimacing over every one of Seth Meyer's jokes while Barack Obama took all of Seth's remarks with a smile and a good natured sense of humor. I've never seen anyone at a correspondents' dinner look so pissed as Trump did. It would have done some good for his image and at least shown that he's a good sport if he could have laughed at some of the jokes or at least looked bemused. I hate Trump even more now.

I thought is was a hysterical night. Both President Obama and Seth Meyers was fantastic. It's a shame that Donald Trump can hand it out, but can't take it. They made him look like the fool that he is...Bravo!

Trump deserved all he got. You can't expect to be taken seriously when you behave the way he has done the last couple of weeks.

The best thing the Dems can hope for is that he gets on the ticket and continues to stick his foot in his mouth. Seth Meyers nailed them all.
