WASHINGTON - No numbers in the year just ending are more consequential for President Obama than the results of the midterm elections. His party lost seats in the Senate and its majority in the House. The full impact of those numbers will only start to be felt when the 112th Congress convenes next Wednesday.

But other numbers from 2010 add shading and perspective to other aspects of the second year of the Obama presidency:

The Bushoccio Crime Family left $10.5 trillion in debt plus $1.5 trillion yearly. So it was $12 trillion before Obama could do anything to pass a new budget. While campaigning Obama stated he had been to "every state but two (Hawaii and Alaska)" but oddly has visted nine for the first time according to CBS?

Unemployment was at 10% in Jan 2010, by whose numbers? It sure hasn't gone down since he as been in office.

National debt $13.9 trillion (an increase of 3.4 trillion in just two years), when Bush left it was less than $10.5 trillion (after eight years Bush only raised it $5.4 trillion... clearly democrats are worse for the economy than republicans... didn't they cry bloody murder over how much debt Bush added but not a peep over how much Junior's $1.7 trillion yearly debt average... compared to Bush's POINT Six trillion a year average (that's one third as much as Barry spends). Democrats are demonstrative chicken littles.

OMG, CBS is confirming there are 57 states just like Obama mistakenly alluded to during his campaign... he has visited nine states for the first time since becoming president (has previously admitted to 48 (having not visted Hawaii and Alaska) and 48 plus 9 is 57... its another CBS first. Pity there aren't 57 states but there are 57 muslim countries... we all know what was on Barry's mind (whose a good little muslim, Barry is).

It's like this. A lot of blacks and other minoritiest USE racism to get what they want. On one site I read a comment from a black woman who asked "if obama was white, would he be getting all this blame?" I wrote back, "well, Bush certainly did, didn't he? So you might want to ask yourself, if Bush have been black, would he have gotten all the blame?"

It's so easy for some of them to USE their blackness (or other minority) in order to benefit them personally that they don't realize how they're denigrating the positives of their race, not to mention how they're watering down the racism charge to be grossly ineffective and even laughable nowadays. Being clear cut racists does that to you.

How does this compare with Bush and particularly Clinton in their first two years?

What is the significance of all these numbers?

Have people seen too much of Obama...not enough of Obama?
Did he get out his message more or less often than his predecessors?

That would put perspective on all this.

I'm working on that now. It's hard to do an apples to apples comparison if you're working just from Knoller's data, because he DOESN'T track the same data for everyone. For instance, he shows # of golf rounds and basketball games, but he didn't (at least that I've found so far) count Bush's runs, bike trips, and workout sessions. He notes that when Bush was in Crawford on the ranch, that 20 foreign dignitaries visited, and the same at Camp David, but I haven't found anything yet for Obama. Maybe he is, but I haven't found it yet. CBS/Noller: Do you have these data points for Obama?
