Christine O'Donnell Clip: "Evolution Is a Myth"

After last week's viral video clip in which the Republican Senatorial nominee from Delaware spoke of having "dabbled into witchcraft," Bill Maher lobbed another blast from Christine O'Donnell's past on his show last night.

In a clip from the Oct. 15, 1998 episode of his old ABC series, "Politically Incorrect," O'Donnell is shown saying "Evolution is a myth."

When Maher challenged her to justify the anti-science statement, O'Donnell says, "Well, then why aren't monkeys still evolving into humans?"

Last week Maher said that he would air more clips of O'Donnell from his old show until she agreed to come onto his HBO series, "Real Time."

"It's like a hostage crisis: Every week you don't show up . . . "

He put the two comments into context: "The stuff from the witch last week was silly - who cares what she did in high school and she dabbled with witchcraft?" he said. "But this is somebody who could be in the Senate, who thinks that mice have human brains, and doesn't understand, 'Oh my God, that monkeys don't evolve in the time it takes to watch them?'"

The clip was later posted on Youtube.

Maher's old show isn't the only one with O'Donnell clips now making their way from the vaults.

A 2003 clip from MSNBCD's "Scarborough Country" features O'Donnell opposing the promotion of condom use to protect teenagers from pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease.

"I tell them to be careful," Eric Nies from the Moment of Hope Foundation says in the video. "You have to wear a condom. You have to protect yourself when you're going to have sex, 'cause they're having it anyway. There's nothing that you or me can do about it."

O'Donnell responds: "The sad reality is -- yes, there is something you can do about it. And the sad reality, to tell them slap on a condom is not..."

Interjects Nies: "You're going to stop the whole country from having sex?"

Replies O'Donnell: "Yeah. Yeah."

"I'm a young woman in my thirties and I remain chaste," she adds. "It's unrealistic to think they're just going to do it anyway. Kids are not just dogs in heat."

O'Donnell has said she is no longer talking to national media outlets, and has dismissed comments that have garnered controversy as reflecting her passion for her faith and the experimentation typical of young people.

Evolution is a myth, not science, since evolution of species has never been observed in action a single time, and although observation is the foremost requirement of the scientific method.

Remember when the apathetic, arrogant, deceitful, vindictive. egotistical hypocrite and lying coward george ( born again Christian?) bush ran away in the plane after reading to the school children(it?s all on film,Fahrenheit 9/11,winner/best picture Cannes film festival) when the 9/11 tragedy happened only to show up a few days later to give his phony photo op performance at ground zero speaking through the blow horn? You were able to tell that he never gave a damn for those who perished on the fatal day. In fact you were also able to tell that the tears he squirted at the TV cameras during his cheap photo op performance were tears of joy and not of sorrow.. And If you recall george bush gave another one of his cheap photo op performances when he showed up in new Orleans a year after the devastating hurricane happened. You were also able to tell that his showing up in New Orleans was merely for show and not because he cared..

p.s george bush has no twin brother so that was definitely george reading to the school children very nonchalant without a care in the world knowing that New York was being attacked,talk about apathy. You could also tell that the apathetic egotist never gave a damn for those who perished on 9/ll when he gave his cheap photo op performance at ground zero speaking through the blow horn. You could really tell that it was all for show and nothing more.

The Evolution Theory is being taught as Science nowdays, although "Theory" just means an idea. Science means an idea that has been tested and proven - known to be true. Don't call a theory science - it shows your ignorance. So what is the origin of the capacity of humans to form ideas, experience emotional feelings, practice benevolence, deception, retain memory, and perform mathematical calculations? What produced the Soul in Mankind? Go beyond the high school class level. Science has Proven that biological systems are the manifestations of a written chemical language. Languages are written by intelligent beings. Accidents happen too. Mainly to careless people.

I am a Calvary scout in the United States Army. I am stationed at Fort Bliss Texas. We returned home Tuesday and I would like to comment on his war from a specialized soldier?s eyes. I honestly think that the president lied to all of us. After seeing first hand what was in most parts of Iraq, my whole company could not fathom a threat of any means. I love America, and will defend her when called upon, but in this case there was not a real threat. By the way, the THANKSGIVING PHOTO-OP at the AIRPORT was only open to pro-bush soldiers. We were screened unknowingly about four days before he showed up in secret. We didn?t know he was coming, but looking back, all of the questions we were asked were designed to weed out the antiwar soldiers..

If you recall at george bush?s two inaugurals there were an awful lot of demonstrations. And if you recall his first inaugural was a dark, rainy, dreary, dismal, dreadful, and very depressing day in Washington DC. It felt as if a huge black cloud hovered over the entire nation as if we were being cursed expecting for a bad omen to happen. Many create gods and Christ?s in their own image and even quote from the scriptures merely so they can continue with their personal and political agenda?Nothing whatsoever to do with CHRIST, SERMON ON THE MOUNT ANYONE? but everything to do with the MALE EGO. I?m reminded of the time when george (born again Christian?) bush constantly said that he spoke to god when it was obviously the EGOTISTICAL GOD he created in his own image.
