Sarah Palin: I'd Run For President "if Nobody Else Were to Step Up"

Sarah Palin hinted further at her interest in a 2012 presidential bid on Wednesday night, saying in an interview that she "would offer [herself] up in the name of service to the public," in the event that "nobody else wanted to step up."

"A reason to run [for President] is if nobody else were to step up with the solutions that are needed to get the economy back on the right track and to be so committed to our national security that they are going to do all that they can, including fighting those on the extreme left who seem to want to dismantle some of our national security tools that we have in place," Palin said, in an interview with Greta Van Susteren on Fox News.

Palin has long been courting increased speculation about a possible presidential run, and recent moves - including a trip to Iowa and the release of a suspiciously presidential campaign-like ad - have done little to temper that perception.

But Palin has insisted repeatedly that she is not tempted by the "title" or "any kind of self-gratification or personal power- seeking of my own to run for office," and says that if "my candidacy wasn't good for my family, if it wasn't good for the common sense conservative agenda that needs to be adhered to, then certainly I wouldn't run."

"I also know that anybody -- anybody -- can make a huge difference in this country without a title, without an office, just being out there as an advocate for solutions that can work to get the country on the right track," she said. "And that's where I am now."

Please just go away. You're the most irritating person I've ever seen in my life.
Just hearing your voice or seeing your name is enough to make me cringe.
And the thought that someone as dumb as you could legitimately get anywhere the post of POTUS is just plain frightening.

I must be having a nightmare, this can't be real, even America can't have become so mind numbingly stupid and oblivious to what this idiot represents... or can they?
