In the wake of the NAACP's passage of a resolution condemning racism in the Tea Party movement, a Tea Party group is holding a "Uni-Tea" convention celebrating the diversity of the movement.

The event will be held in Philadelphia on July 31st, and will feature a number of African-American speakers as well as white Tea Party favorites like Andrew Breitbart, according to the "Uni-Tea" website.

The slogan for the event, to be held at the Independence Mall and include live bands, is "United Tea Party For All Communities."

As NewsCore reports, TeaParty365 co-founder David Webb cast the event as a sequel to President Obama's "beer summit" last summer in the wake of the arrest of African-American professor Henry Lewis Gates, Jr. by a white Cambridge police officer.

Webb, who is African American, condemned what he called the NAACP's "selective racism" on CBS' "Face the Nation" Sunday.

He complained that NAACP President Benjamin Jealous "will not condemn the New Black Panther Party for saying that they want to kill crackers and kill cracker babies, whereas he would condemn the KKK or any element that shows up . . . and claims that they are a part of the Tea Party."

In the wake of the NAACP resolution, Sarah Palin wrote that "the charge that Tea Party Americans judge people by the color of their skin is false, appalling, and is a regressive and diversionary tactic to change the subject at hand."

Among the scheduled speakers at the "Uni-Tea" convention are Webb, HipHopRepublican Political Commentator Leette Eaton-White and Fox News contributor Deneen Borelli.

If these loons are waving the signs at your rallies and no one in the party can curb these things, what would you expect most Americans to think about your organisation ?? The Tea Party as since been notified about the racists in their midst and instead of purging themselves of these loons, they're busy pointing the finger to some 6 member black panther party or now to something that may have happenned 24years ago - but WE STILL KNOW NOTHING IS REALLY BEING DONE AT THE TEA PARTY - Making them still very RACIST and BIGOTED. These racists have surely lost my vote on all ISSUES ..... Dumb Repugs !!

Why do liberals/socialist like to demonize anyone who opposes their agenda...such as members of the Tea Party??? What are they afraid of? The Truth...It is only the Truth that will set us free from anykind of slavery be it federal welfare programs or unemployment checks.
Beware when we hear words like racist, etc--they are attempting to
"Demonize" those who disagree with their agenda.

THE TEA PARTY IS WORKING FOR "ALL" AMERICANS.

OBAMA IS SO CONFUSED HE DOESN'T REALIZE THAT WHAT IS GOING ON "NOW" IS HIS FAULT! HE STILL BLAMES EVERYTHING ON SOMEONE ELSE.

OBAMA AND THE LIBERALS IN CONGRESS BASED THE ENTIRE 2008 CAMPAIGN ON LIES. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO STAY IN POWER. OBAMA IS THE FIRST PRESIDENT TO WEAKEN THE USA.

OUR PRESIDENT-IN-TRAINING HASN'T HANDLED ANYTHING SINCE HE TOOK OFFICE. HE SHOULD HAVE GONE TO HOLLYWOOD ---- NOT OUR WHITE HOUSE. AMONG OTHER THINGS, HE PROMISED TO CREATE JOBS. INSTEAD, HE CRAMMED OBAMACARE DOWN OUR THROATS.

OBAMA SHOULD: SUPPORT OUR MILITARY!!! CREATE JOBS!!! BUILD THE FENCE AND SECURE OUR BORDERS!!! STOP THROWING LAVISH PARTIES AND STAYING ON VACATION MOST OF THE TIME!!! HE SHOULD START DOING HIS JOB!!!

ILLEGAL MEANS UNLAWFUL!!! Why won't the Obama administration protect AMERICAN CITIZENS AND OUR BORDERS??? The Obama administration doesn't recognize them as illegal immigrants,THEY THINK OF THEM AS "UNREGISTERED DEMOCRATS"!!! The Democrats have stooped to new lows for pandering to the Hispanic voting bloc.

The American people will make them pay in November.

I see no sign what so ever of racism in the tea party movement. On the other hand the naacp is openly and loudly racist. They hate white people they hate jews and I'm pretty sure they would hate orientals if they thought about it. This is not some kind of secret. This black hate group has been squeeling this at the top of their lungs for years.

How do you know that the NAACP is loudly racist if you can't see the signs or the rhetoric at Tea Party rallies ?? NAACP is for Coloured People and i haven't seen were they've represented themselves otherwise - on the other hand, the TEA PARTY tries to give a countrywide feel to it but you can't miss the 99% white members and also the many posters at these rallies. Dumb Dumb Repugs !!

Bah humbug. The whole tea party originated with themes like "taking our country back",and other code terms for racist attitudes. The core tea party members claims have always included such nonsense as President Obama isn't really legally president because he supposedly wasn't born in America and he really is secretly Muslim, etc etc tied in with idiotic attitudes attacking "big government" and "getting government off their backs" - except when you point out governmental programs they like, that is. Remember that pathetic woman caught talking to Senator McCain during the campaign - "He's, he's he's an Arab!" She was really searching for words to express what really was bothering her - he was black, he was liberal, and he didn't represent the kind of non-threatening WASP person she grew up expecting to be president. People like that are now going to be repudiated by the Republican Party conservative shills who want to hi-jack control of the movement for organized campaigning. They probably will succeed in turning it into yet another conservative front group, and still get most of the simplistic magical thinker members to vote for their candidates if they blather enough empty, meaningless tea party slogans. Whether the large group of independent voters in the middle see through the fake "we aren't racist" claims and are turned off by the tactics is the real question.

It's so interesting how the NAACP loves the word "racism" when it applies to blacks, but screw everyone else! I'm black and I think it's crazy! Racism is WRONG regardless of who it is against. Why don't people get that?! My husband is white and he takes up for me when he hears people say mean things about black people.

There's a video out now showing how wonderful the NAACP really is: http://www.thefoxnation.com/culture/2010/07/19/caught-tape-obama-official-discriminates-against-white-farmer

Racism is racism, whether white on black or black on white. It is despicable. For those who would like an example of the NAACP's own racism, check out this video from Brietbart:

Whoever tries to join the Tea party or call themselves a member, they now know that they are not wanted if they practice racism or intolerance. It is official. If there were any doubts in the past, the policy has been clarified. Any racist act of any person who might be seen to have any thing to do with the Tea Party movement is acting wothout any support of the Tea Party movement. End of story.

To begin with, the`"Tea party" is not a political party. At best it is a mob of disgruntled weirdos and members of diverse radical cults. Whether one is a racist or not is determined by his or her acts, including speech, not by one's self-serving denials.
