Gibbs: Obama Will be Judged on Results, not Emotion

Obama

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs today responded to criticism that President Obama has not shown sufficient emotion and anger concerning the oil leak in the Gulf.

"If jumping up and down and screaming were to fix a whole in the ocean, we'd have done that five or six weeks ago," he said. "We'd have done that the first night."

But "pounding on a podium isn't going to fix a hole in the ocean," Gibbs said.

He said that Americans were more concerned with "results" than they are with rhetoric.

"I think that's what the president is going to be judged by," he said.

But people do judge the president by emotions; that's how they elected him- remember the emotions during the campaign days! Bill Clinton mastered this trade. When the president shows emotions on behalf of the people, people know he feels what they feel. Otherwise Obama is just a technocrat.

Can you believe that the Texas Attorney General's office of Greg Abbot allows the child support payor 4 to 6 weeks notice to run before child support can be collected, or give time for the non custodial parent time to murder or snatch the child they don't have custody of before payments are made. Give the non custodial parent who is of same political party as Texas AG, and they make a deal to allow these atrocities to occur to the custodial parent, usually a woman, the mother of the child or children. Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot is a Republican man who is looking to be reelected as Texas AG. He needs to be retired since he has done a horrible job in collecting child suppport in Texas for Texas custodial parents. Vote Barbara Radowsky for Texas Attorney General. She understands the importance of making sure Texas children are well cared for regardless of party affiliation. Retired Greg Abbot from Texas AG office. He has been paid from Texas tax payers, and he hasn't done much for his work, or lack of work. Vote Democrats 2010, 2012, and beyond in Texas and in America. We must go forward, not backwards. Republicans want to repeal Women's Rights To Vote, Women's Right To Their Children, Women's Rights To Own Property, Women's Rights To Own Vehicles, Women's Rights To Have Credit, and many other rights women currently have. don't let men like Greg Abbot take away your rights as women and don't let him take your children away from you. Vote Democrats 2010, 2012, and beyond.

Pay very close attention to crimes committed in your local areas by hatred from the right. Palin and her Wise Guy husband Todd are not to be trusted. They send in their Wise Guys to other states to check out citizens who don't agree with them politically or religiously. They are very dangerous individuals, similar to neo nazi style of governing. Also, Bush.Cheney are just as bad as other Republicans are. We must protect each other from harm of the right and extremists from both left and right. Tea Party cult members are surely harmful. If you are poisoned in your homes, document. If at restaurant, do the same. If you are in accidents that seem non coincidental, question the tactics of poltical parties that act out towards other's political points of view. Again, Palin, Paul, Bush.Cheney.Rove all Conservative right wing Republicans must be watched for their undesireable tactics. Beware of them for they want to kill and murder or quieten those who think differently than they do. What did the Master of the Plantation do to those who he didn't like? He would lynch them in front of watching crowds. Now, they work with gangs in local areas to get the dirty work done. Beware of Tea Party cult like members. They are very very deadly, lethal, vile, and evil.

The level of corruption in this administration is amazingly high. We can only hope that when we see all these gurus, administration leaders, and other nut cases up to their necks in sand, that we can recognize what must be done. Add more sand!!! Sand stops engines in their tracks and we need this group of nincompoops to exit as quickly as possible.

"I am a little off topic, but this is important. For a short time in my life, I found myself homeless, no food, no money, no nothing. I walked for miles and found a place that gave me food and asked for nothing in return. I could not believe that a place like this existed. It was the St. Jude Ministry, 13350 Ashford Point Drive, Houston, TX 77082. If you can find in your heart to give to these wonderful people, please do so. I am sure you will be rewarded many time over...P.S. I have no connection to them whatsoever, I only wish them well.." Bill Kolek, Houston, Texas

I am judging him on his lack of results, and not his verbiage or emotion. His lack of actions on the oil spill and his actions in pushing a horrible health care bill speak volumes.

Ah yes, lets all sing Kumbaya around the crude oil campfire with BRITISH petroleum. It had profits of 5 billion in the first quarter of this year. Lets all help BRITISH petroleum whether as individuals we wish to or not with our social welfare and bail out this great multinational corporation from most if not all of it's liability. Such is a negative to its balance sheet. After all, BRITISH petroleum is helping america grow less dependent on foreign oil.

This is akin to another bank bailout. The hoin' goin' on between those in government and multinational corporations will continue to break us of anything defined as a society of liberty and justice for all.

No one is talking about a bailout of BP (or there had better not be any stupid talk of it), the issue is protecting the coastline of the United States. It is time to act. Why are there articles about the President's emotions? What in the world will emotions do for any of this mess? We need action. The Governor of Louisiana has been making specific requests of this administration for weeks - and very little had been done.

Obama needs to just stand up there and jump around screaming and a hollering. Clenching his fists and gnashing his teeth. ...for some more criticism of the government and us the taxpayers that will be giving BRITISH petroleum some welfare so it can get back to the business of drillin' holes it cannot plug and turning profits that will most likely be higher than anticipated at the 3rd quarter due to higher fuel prices.
