Sarah Palin Lashes Out at Journalist Joe McGinniss for Moving Next Door

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who has long had a contentious relationship with the media, lashed out today against a writer she says has moved in next door while he writes a book about her.

Joe McGinniss, a non-fiction novelist known for works including the book The Selling of the President, an account of the 1968 Nixon presidential campaign, has rented a house next to Palin's Alaska home for about five months, Palin writes in a Facebook note.

"He moved up all the way from Massachusetts to live right next to us - while he writes a book about me," Palin writes. "Knowing of his many other scathing pieces of 'journalism' (including the bizarre anti-Palin administration oil development pieces that resulted in my Department of Natural Resources announcing that his work is the most twisted energy-related yellow journalism they'd ever encountered), we're sure to have a doozey to look forward to with this treasure he's penning. Wonder what kind of material he'll gather while overlooking Piper's bedroom, my little garden, and the family's swimming hole?"

McGinniss is reportedly writing a book about Palin, slated for release in 2011. Last year, he wrote the controversial article "Pipe Dreams" for the publication Portfolio about Palin. He also reportedly bid more than $60,000 last year to have dinner with Palin, though he lost the auction (benefiting a program that helps wounded veterans) to a higher bidder.

In her Facebook note, Palin posted a picture of a man on a deck.

"Here he is," she wrote, "about 15 feet away on the neighbor's rented deck overlooking my children's play area and my kitchen window."

This is HILARIOUS! It is amazing how far she has come (quite embarrassing really) and it is no wonder the rest of the world thinks Americans are ignorant. Please lord do not let this woman run for President and win. I will move to Canada (maybe I will be able to see Russia!).

Joe McGinniss, in all probability, is a pedophile. The Palin Family should be very careful with the kids. At the very least, McGinniss will be filming and photographing them, both indoors and out, at every opportunity.

According to her facebook page Sarah Palin fears that Joe will one night leap out of the woods in last year?s Halloween costume and make her and the kids cry.

Now, she claims the right to say, who and who cannot, move next door to her? Is this arrogance, or madness, talking here? It makes me feel uneasy!

It also suggests someone with a guilty conscience! Does she do something bizarre each morning in her backyard, that she's afraid he's going to see?

What's up? Why the over-reaction?!

Too bad somebody doesn't write about the 14 buses taking SEIU members to Maryland and trampling on the front yart of a Bank of America employee, scaring the 14-year-old boy alone inside to the point that he locked himself inside a bathroom. Those people had a bull horn and stood at the front door of the house, yelling. 500 people. Yelling. When the SEIU finished at that house, they got back on their buses and did that same at another employee's house. And the polic did NOTHING. That was private property. Where is Nancy Pelosi now? What does she think about it? Why isn't this big news?

She must be considered a real threat, otherwise why is so much time and energy being spent on tearing her apart? But to actually move in next door just to keep tabs on her - creepy.
