Man Arrested for Threatening GOP Representative Ginny Brown-Waite

A man who allegedly left a threatening voicemail for Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite, a Florida Republican, has been arrested.

Erik Lawrence Pidrman was charged today with leaving a message at Brown-Waite's Florida office last month saying, "Just wanna let you know I have 27 people that are going to make sure that this b**** does not live to see her next term."

After announcing the threat, which came not long after she voted no on the health care reform bill, Brown-Waite said in a statement, "I will find the person who threatened to kill me and ensure that they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. "

TPM reports that Pidrman told the FBI that he is a "blackout alcoholic" who doesn't remember making the call, though he admitted it was his voice on the recording.

In an affidavit posted by TPM, he said he is "sorry and embarrassed" about making the call and that it was likely not related to health care reform but rather the fact that "she wanted to have our American soldiers exhumed from their burial grounds in France."

In a statement after the arrest, Brown-Waite said, "The work that we do in Congress can be controversial, but violence is never the answer."

Members of both political parties have faced threats of violence in recent months, particularly following the divisive health care vote. Former President Bill Clinton suggested today that unchecked extreme rhetoric could lead to in another domestic terrorist attack along the lines of the Oklahoma City bombing fifteen years ago.

It looks like we have a case for domestic terrorism - and it's from a left wing nut? Not the Tea Party? How can this be?

Seriously, this is really bad. There are nut cases on the left and the right - but it does not make either side the norm for terrorism. All this hype from President Clinton about anti-government complaints is irresponsible and incendiary. He should not be doing this.

I don't know why these dumb a#@ people make threats to people that are in the position of power and that has more money to throw around than you do. And if need be, make the money you spend on contributions to their campaign and possibly have you shanked in prison by a low life that wants to buy more soups from the commissary for making empty threats to a representative.

He could have killed her and the liberals would have been cheering.

You mean like all the neos who not only defended but cheered Scott Roeder when he murdered Dr. George Tiller?

Naw, don't think so.

Come on you know you would be cheering to see a republican senator or congressman/women out of the way since you hate them so bad. By the way did you hate the CNC when you served because he was a republican or did you choose to only serve under a dem CNC.

Yeah, when we get to all the hundreds upon hundreds of death threats against liberals by conservatives we'll talk...otherwise we should treat this exactly like it is - a minor and unrepresentative example of media "balance".

When it was a threat against Pelosi and other dems it was all the msm talked about all day for a week. We'll see how long before CBS takes this off the boards.

Maybe Clinton can talk about this when he makes his next speech about how the Tea Party is rationing up violence in the U.S.

Maybe former president Clinton should be talking about these nuts, instead of blaming people who belong to the tea party for everything.

Wow, I am surprised CBS even covered this story. We heard about Pelosi being threatened on every news channel for a week. Maybe Clinton can talk about this when he makes his next speech about how the Tea Party is rationing up violence in the U.S.

The American people know what the left is up to and it will notwork this time.

SocialEvo says:
As events of the world become more and more disconcerting, when do we realize that the system is broken? When do we realize that we are NOT the masters of our own destiny? When do we understand that we can do much better, and that just because the current system exists, that does not make it infallible or irreplaceable? Throughout all of human history there has been one constant, ever evolving advancement to better our situation. To ignore this is to ignore that which is obvious in front of your face. When do you realize that it's time to start looking for a better system? Maybe you need a little push, because it's difficult for people to break out of the box if they don't even realize a box exists around them. ---

Two videos to watch on the Youtube Channel TZMSocialEvolution: "Awakening" and "Our Technical Reality". From there it's all up to you. It's time to socially evolve, and make the world a better place for generations to come.
