Former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is asking for between $1 million and $1.5 million an episode to star in the reality television show she is developing, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Palin went to Los Angeles earlier this month to pitch the show, described as a "planet-Earth type look" at the state of Alaska, to broadcast networks.

The cable networks A&E Networks and Discovery Communications are now interested in acquiring the project, according to Hollywood Reporter. Palin is producing the show, currently being called "Sarah Palin's Alaska," with reality-show producer Mark Burnett, who is known for his shows like "Survivor" and "The Apprentice."

Palin has cultivated a career in media as a commentator for Fox News and as a best-selling author. Her daughter Bristol Palin is also beginning an acting career.

Last year, after speculation developed that Palin could host her own talk show, the former Alaska governor told Barbara Walters it would not be in the "best interests" of her family.

"I would not ever want to put my kids through such a thing," she said. "Our life has become kind of a reality show."

Do we get to see how the hungry people of Alaska go out and shoot some poor animal from a helicopter then put lipstick on the carcass and have a fun photo session before slaughtering it??? They must be so very hungry.

SO - me too. She would raise the average (but not median) beauty of democrat women by 3 fold or more if she were a democrat.

Dear Dumbisafourletterword:
You seem to be obsessing on the "Palinator's" looks.
Could that be because she is DUMBER THAN A BAG OF ROCKS ????

Nope. If you were a male, would rather wake up in the morning next to Sarah, Hillary or Nancy? Be honest.

Hell, even Bill could not stand sleeping with Hillary.

How would you begin to explain how you know this? Unless you have some videos no one's going to believe it anyhow. And why would you think anyone but you (and your FOX "buddies") really cares? Dwell in the past if you must, but, in your own words, show some respect, you'll live longer.....

It is spelled FOX. Please stop the hate against them. Do not watch them if you do not want to, but try respect. It might do wonders for your disposition in life. You might actually be happier and find out the world is not evil and that life is worth living!

Reality Television is Tripe.
Figures the Queen of Tripe would get involved with it.

Sarah Palin inspires and entertains the dregs of America.

She brings back the old Archie Bunker description of "Ding Bat".
Maybe her show could be called 'Ding Bat Does Alaska'?

Grim tim - I bet a lot of people would gladly be called a "Ding Bat" if they make $1 million or more per episode?

Maybe you could be the first ding bat to appear on her show

"Reality" shows are the cheapest thing to produce for tv. That's why there are so many and they are so bad. A million dollars? You'd have to pay ME to watch her.

Iwas always told . If you can't make it in real world? There is always the army or driving a cab.Palin is too old and too soft for the army.Driving anything in alaska takes a elite skill she doesn't posses, keeping your eye on the road and don't run over anyone. Well alaskans have already been run over by palin once.By revealing her underbelly in a reality show she is saying I will not seek the presidency at least not until america has all became so doped up they vote by phone.i would bet a thousand cash in hand she couldn't pass the entrance exam to the military. Any branch.Believe it or not the coast gaurd entrance exam is tougher than that required to operate artillery .
