House Ethics Committee Ends Eric Massa Investigation

Eric Massa
CBS News has confirmed that the House ethics committee has ended its investigation of sexual harassment allegations against former Democratic Rep. Eric Massa, according to a House aide with knowledge of the investigation.

The committee often -- though not always -- drops investigations when the member in question resigns.

Massa had been under investigation for allegedly groping multiple male staffers and behaving inappropriately with interns, according to reports. His resignation went into effect on Monday.

Republicans this morning were calling for the investigation to continue.

Democratic Rep. Chris Van Hollen told ABC News Monday that "there may be other forums [besides the ethics committee] in which those individuals can pursue those complaints, so that's something that will be looked at as we move forward."

This guy is typical of the people we have elected to represent us. They are all scum. Maybe time to think before we vote.

Naturally, the Democrats allowed this guy to stay as long as he voted thier way. As soon as he voted differently from the lock step of the Nazi Democrats, he was kicked to the curb. This is the change we can believe in.

At least he's quitting. Senator Vitter, who likes to wear diapers with his prostitutes is still in the Senate and he's the odds on favorite to win reelection as a Republican.

What's the big deal, men grope each other all the time. Has anyone watched football? What about couple's luging? What about MMA? That's pretty gay yet nobody is pulling the sexual harassment card out.

One less spot of grease to remove from the pan.

Seems that Beck and Retmw got greased too. Just gottofigure out whether to implicate Obama (or R. Emanual) or castigate this closet freak for his political affiliation.

Move on people, nothing more to see here. The Story was a shart and you smelled it.
