Chinese President Leaves G8 Talks

Chinese President Hu Jintao has flown back to Beijing following rioting in a northwestern region of China and will miss this week's G8 summit hosted by Italy, according to the BBC and Reuters.

State news agency Xinhua said he had flown back to Beijing early on Wednesday, cutting short his visit to Rome and leaving officials to represent China at the G8 talks, according to the BBC.

G8 Leaders Look for Signs of Recovery

Bloody ethnic clashes in the capital of Xinjiang earlier this week killed 156 people and wounded more than 1,000.

Uighurs have been angered by the June 25 deaths of Uighur factory workers killed in a brawl in the southern Chinese city of Shaoguan, according to the Associated Press.

All that bailout money went straight into the pockets of the wealthy. It was a bailout alright, a bailout of the Wall Street and Banking fat cats.

Interest rates - up
Food prices - up
Healthcare costs - up
Utility prices - up
College tuition - up
Unemployment - up
Meanwhile wages - down, employment - down, income - down, savings - down, spending - down.
It just doesn't make sense unless this whole economy is being manipulated by a few who are bleeding us dry of what little money we have.I am telling you, what is going on is totally outside of any known business model or economic model and Washington is in on it because they are all bought and paid for by the wealthy who really control this country.; Reply to this comment
