Taliban Continues to Target U.S. Supply Convoys

The militant Afghan movement the Taliban claimed in an online statement that its militants launched an attack on a convoy of U.S. supply trucks and completely destroyed five convoys on Sunday on the Jalalabad Highway east of the capital Kabul. The group said that they seized the truck drivers for further questioning in what has become routine procedure to gather more information on NATO supply routes.
