Taliban Says Spokesperson Haneef Executed by Afghani Troops

Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that senior Taliban leader and the group's spokesperson Dr. Mohammed Haneef, has been executed by Afghan forces in Nangarhar province. The statement, which was posted online, said that police forces stormed the home of Haneef's half brother, arrested him with three other family members, tied their hands behind their back and opened fire on the four men from their Kalashnikovs.
